Title: Dreamies - advice from Mars
Post by: Mark on May 03, 2010, 13:09:44 PM
My mum's cat, Shelly, barely eats. She turn her nose up at fish, chicken, wet food, dry food etc. My mum started buying her dreamies and for the first time ever, she is up on the counter rubbing up against the food cupboard. My mum rang Mars to ask if it was OK for her to have more than 20 a day  :evillaugh: (now you see where I get it from  :evillaugh: ) she was told "No" - the adviser said they are strictly a treat. He said "you may like mars bars but I wouldn't advise having 2 a day" - He then went on to tell her that as a treat, she shouldn't really be giving them to her cat every day either.

She was sent a letter of thanks and a £2 voucher for her call  :evillaugh:

I explained complementary and complete to her.

Annoyingly, I noticed yesterday that Sheba domes are only complementary - not that I buy them, but wonder how many people buy them thinking they are a proper food?

;D I hope your mum can find something else that Shelly will like!

I bet quite a few people think Sheba domes are complete Mark

Oh dear  :scared: The boys 'overdose' several times a week then  :evillaugh:

Your Mum could try crushing up a few dreamies to make a dreamie powder to sprinkle on the regular food, Shelly might fall for it  :shify:

hadn't thought of that. I guess she could try giving her Whiskas dry as there probably isn't much difference  :evillaugh: - I don't condone feeding rubbish but any food is better than none.
