Title: Poor ole tiny milo cat
Post by: Leanne on April 27, 2010, 12:40:36 PM
Was in a right stressy state when I got in last night, hiding under our bed. This is quite unlike him his pretty bomb proof really.

Our neighbours are having a new driveway laid and they guys doing it are using a digger to break up the old one, I gathered this had been going on all day (in fact it went on till 6:40pm), the noise had scared Milo half to death. I managed to coax him out and we had a cuddle but then he freaked out and ran down my back (I'm now covered in scratches).

So Milo ended up with dinner under the bed and a zylkene added in (was going to start giving it to him as we go on holiday next week), it reduced me to tears to see him like that as his usually always so confident  :'( :Luv2:

Jess cat  went and sat in the garden, nose to the gate watching these guys work, and his supposed to be the stress head  :Luv2: :Luv2:

Oh bless him. Sometimes the strangest things can spook the puds.

Everything spooks Dave, he's forever running away and hiding from some perceived bogey man. He gets over it 5 minutes later though :evillaugh:

It's strange how certain noises get to them -  with Smudge it was the sound of the dustbin wagon - he would run behind the settee and come out when it had gone.

Maybe it's good it happened before you went on holiday at least you are here to comfort him  :Luv2: :Luv2:

Have a good holiday

Mary

Poor little boy,  were they using one of those jackhammer type things? they are so noisy and you can feel the vibrations from them too.

Poor Milo  :( it's awful when they're like that our Squeaky used to be like that when the window cleaners were around he used to jump up the chimney

Luckily Milo was much better last night, there wasn't so much digging going on, more flattening of concrete but it was still really loud and bone shuddering  :-[

I felt really angry when I saw the driveway guys moving machinery they had dumped on my driveway and had to refrain from saying something and sounding like a mad cat woman  :tired:

It is horrible seeing them so stressed and upset. Clapton is the worst. He doesn't even like the sound of us walking through the hallway
