I love those drinking fountains but even £50 for a ceramic bowl with a little pump in is extortionate.
-
I can't see the outdoor post....
-
Apparently it's this one. http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/scratching_posts/cattreesolymp/15126
Athough the price is different
I did a search for "outdoor" as I was looking for a bed for Kylie - they are too expensive though
-
Ahhh, I see. That "meets the requirements of indoor/outdoor cats" it isn't actually an outdoor post. :( (That's what I got too.)
Outdoor cat beds you mean?
-
Yes - Kylie is using an old bed I put in the garden last summer. Overnight it gets damp. I would rather she had something that is designed for outdoor use but I'm not paying £40 for an outdoor dog bed

Any good?
-
Thanks. The Kudos one might be OK but even then, she would need a medium or large, which pushes it up to £40 again. She can make do for now :evillaugh:
-
The link to the outdoor scratching post/bed in the email I got doesn't appear to work properly. This is the page it is sending me to.

Any better?
-
Not really :evillaugh: - she likes large donut-type beds so there is something to support her head.
This might do the job. http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/dogs/dog_beds_baskets/dog_cushions_pillows_blankets/waterproof_cushions/43559

Fussy mare....the cat, not you! I'll keep a look out. :)
-
This one looks like it is the most durable. http://www.bronteglen.co.uk/bronteglenDetail.asp?cat=2&subCat=24&prod=143&name=TROJAN%20-%20COSY%20Water%20Proof%20Dog%20bed Made for kennels etc from heavy-duty rip-stop fabric.
There are plenty on eBay but they aren't much cheaper.
There is also this one on Zooplus but it isn't machine washable (but it is cheap :evillaugh: )

Sometimes on EBay you can be cheeky and ask for a reduction in price.... ;)

Oh, just found this....

I guess so but the ones on there didn't seem great quality - the one I linked to seemed to be the business. Annoying, I tried to find out if they were sold anywhere else, as for some strange reason. buying direct from a maker can be more expensive than buying elsewhere (I suppose they charge RRP so they don't tread on toes) - it came up with a link for Petplanet who had them on sale for £24 freepost - one snag was they were sold out and discontinued :tired:

Not bad but I am impressed with the description of the one I linked to. I would rather spend an extra £10 if it will last. I would prefer an oval donut shape though :evillaugh:
-
I ended up getting her this in PAH - altohugh they are meant to be for dogs, I got her the medium so she can stretch out :Luv2:
I also got Clapton a Wainwright's mattress (can't find it on their website) to replace the disgusting floor cushion he has been sleeping on. I feel horrible as I have confiscated the old one. At the moment, he is ignoring the new cushion and sitting on the hard floor.
Also Kylie has so far ignored her one in the garden.
OH well, it's only £50 down the drain :tired:
-
I know that feeling Mark - usually it's a smaller amount but on a budget it makes you pull the same face. ;)
-
Well amazingly, Clapton is on his one already ;D
He is licking his poorly paw - he has overgrown claws but OH is too scared to help me so I have booked a home visit on Friday afternoon - OH will pay :evillaugh:
-
However, Kylie is ignoring hers. I was amazed how close Alice was - seconds after I took the first photos, Alice realised Kylie was there and hissed, followed by lots of odd little sneezes :shify:
In fact, it looks like she had clocked Kylie in the 2nd one :evillaugh:
-
I can't believe she has chosen the old mucky one :tired:
Forgot to put the link to Kylie's one - it's the medium one of these http://www.petsathome.com/shop/3-peaks-wayfarer-dog-mattress-30828
-
Love those pictures! :Luv: (And I can.... :evillaugh:)
-
The odd thing is, Alice always hisses at Kylie as she passes but Kylie seems to know she is a harmless old dear and doesn't react at all - except sometimes to look at me as if to say "I haven't done anything" :Luv2:
-
;D
-
Yeayyyy! :yayyy:
-
Just popped on here to say I'm sat here awwwing to myself at all these lovely photos :evillaugh: :Luv2: :Luv2:
