As some know, about 8 months ago, we changed from Fortekor to Benazecare. They both have the same active ingredient. The main advantage of Benazecare is the tablet is a fraction of the size of Fortekor. As a bonus, they are cheaper and unflavoured, so easier to hide in a treat. They have always been sold in boxes of 14 (1/2 tablet a day). I ordered a repeat for Clapton and collected it this morning. I said to Lynn, the practice nanager that the box looked different. Then I noticed the word "flavoured" and also the fact that there are now 28 tablets in a box (still 5mg though). Lynn had 1/2 box of the unflavoured on the shelf so gave me those and said she would send the wrong ones back and post me the correct ones when they arrived. She has just phoned me. She spoke to Animalcare who insisted that they have always been flavoured. Lynn told them that she has some unflavoured on the shelf. The woman then said that they have changed them to flavoured :tired:
I just hope Clapton doesn't notice any smell when I put them in a treat. I have managed to pill him every day without any problems since we started on Benazecare.
I have checked theoir site and the "new improved" ( :tired: ) version was launched in Feb. Apparently "beef" flavoured with yeast extract.

I am afraid as I get older I am more and more committed to,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,If it aint broke dont fix it..........I am just so fed up of the constant changing of things to try and con new customers and upset all the current ones.
I hope Clapton takes them OK at least they could have made them chicken!
