I have already called emergency vets and have an appointment at 4, but the little kitty was just playing and jumping around and I think she bashed into something as she ran behind the sofa, either table or wall, she is a little shaky now and won't close on of her eyelids at all, has anyone heard of this before? Has she doen some serious damage? I am really worried help please :(

Not sure what that could be but hope the vet trip helps her.

Can you check colour of her gums,if they are very pale then she may be in shock, keep her warm and quiet and in a darkend room until you see vet, try not to worry too much.

Hope that she is ok

How's the little one doing? :scared:

She is ok thanks, she was in a bit of shock, the vet thinks she banged her head and it is inflammed behind the eye, pushing the eye forwards so she cannot close it, there is no damage or scratches etc to the eye, its purely pressure from behind.
She had a watered down anti inflam and i have some tear drops to put in her eye every couple of hours to keep it moist as it can't close. It should go down in 48 hours if not i will take her to my normal vet on Tuesday, that just cost £107 for less than 5 mins consult but at least its nothing serious. She has had a long sleep but she is charging around again now, she doesn't seem bothered anymore!

Hope the eye improves very quickly
