LOL! :evillaugh: - mine will occasionaly get a 'cling on' ;) but its rare thankfully! and I do keep them trimmed a bit shorter round their bottoms. Do these 2 have messy bums from having the runs?

No its solid pooh that just getting stuck !
It's more one persian than the other.....I'm wondering if he sits with his bottom to close to the tray. I have now clipped some of his fur but obv dont want to take too much off
-
Not just persians sadly :shify: my fluffiest girl Bella (long haired moggy) is a nightmare :innocent: so she's now sporting an interesting hairdo around her back end. :shy: :evillaugh: Not pretty but has to be done, particularly as she's one of these cats who insists on shoving her bum into you when you give her a fuss. :P
-
Every time I see pics of Gillian's adorable crew I get a hankering for a Persian. You've just reminded me why that would be a bad idea
-
I've never had much problems with my persians either apart from the occasional 'clingon'. I've never trimed the fur either.
-
 - takes me back to Zeb when he ws a teeny kitten - dreadful runny bum - eek if had long fur  - I took him the shower several times and gave him a wash down.
-
A friend who has a chinchilla/bengal cross alway referred to her 'having her skirt tucked in her knickers" after coming back from the groomer!!
Thought it summed up the look great and no problems with any mess at that end.
-
Apart from the pooh I have somewhat warmed to this 2 guys ....
Being honest Persians are not my cup of tea but I am changing my mind
-
they always look so grumpy and miserable to me -

Now I always used to think that but Gillian's photos and tales of Joe and freinds are just so appealing I've had a change of heart. Pity I've never really enjoyed grooming cats.

A friend of mine about 15 years ago had 4 persians and they were adorable - it was so funny when we had a girlie night every Thursday at Janet's - I wou ldbe the 1st person they headed for knowing I was going to make a fuss of them and then Janet would throw a brush or a comb at me - ah, what a lovely way to spend Thursday nights  :Luv2:

I'm afraid my two Birmans like to sport the occassional cling-on - usually when my mother-in-law comes for tea! I keep the fur around their backend neatly trimmed now, even if it means I have to chase them round the house with a pair of scissors! :evillaugh:
-
That pic of Joe is just lovely ;D
-
Isn't that a close up of the pic of Joe with his legs wide open? :Luv2:
