I took GB (Charlie) to Cramar Cat Rescue after they'd agreed to take him and his mommy following my redundancy from the place he'd been born 6 years before and where his mommy had lived for about 8/9 years. There is a fantastic feral paddocks there and it seemed the ideal place for them to live out the rest of their lives. However, as most of you on here and CC know, things didn't go to plan! I spent the next 8 months either worrying about or searching for him and poor mommy cat was pts with leukemia and a stomach tumour when i FINALLY caught her on May 19th.
I eventually agreed with everyone on here that GB's place was with me and he's been here since November 11th. I think he feels he's finally where he belongs!
He settled from the first day-even being shut in the spare bedroom after spending all of his life outside!
His 'big brother' Chuch, wasn't happy at first, but now they spend a lot of time asleep on my bed together and even have the odd play chase!
It's been a very emotional year for me and i'd like to thank all of you for the continual support you've given me-i couldn't have got through this last year without you! Hugs to all xxx

A lovely ending for you and Charlie :Luv:
I vaguely remember suggesting him staying with you but you weren't sure at that time, I was glad to hear you did and that all eventually turned out well

I'll always remember your GB's story, Shirley, as you finally adopted him officially just around the time my GB decided to turn from a fearful nervous wreck into a loving cuddly teddy bear

I wish HE would turn from a nervous wreck into a cuddly teddy bear! :scared: He's not so bad as he was tho-he lies on the sette next to me and once spent 5 minutes on my lap!!! :Luv2: :Luv2: So glad Toska realises he's got a loving home-Charlie knows deep down, he's just such a scaredy cat!
Thanks Jane

Thanks Liiz and Teresa-definately owned! I'm up and down like a yoyo to let him in and out  He's not so bad now tho, he stays in or out longer :Luv2: Someone on CC has posted a collar for me cos he's so tubby i think someone else is feeding him-if they think he's a stray, they may be trying to tempt him in! He's such a looker, and no-one round here knows he's mine....... :scared: Should be fun trying to get him to wear it tho'
