Hi,
We keep being visited by a cat who lives in neighbourhood and he's leaving his mark near our cat flap- it is very annoying now!
Not sure who it is, but both of ours are done (girl and boy) and it smells rank. Our cat flap is a pet porte and doesn't allow other cats to come in. I'm washing the door down and have used lemongrass oil in the water.
Thanks

Would be interested in responses to this. My friend moved in next door with her biggg black and white boy. He keeps spraying near our cat flap too. He's a lovely lad, but I now won't let him near our house because his spraying seems to disrupt our lot.

The rankness prob means he is entire and its an aroma thats hard to shift! You need some biological action either a bio laundry product or a premade pet odour one such as simple solution. Avoid oils as they can be dangerous for cats and wont deal with the actual odour just try to mask it
I'd also neuter him :shy:

I have that problem outside my lounge window, when I open it all I get is a really strong smell coming in

Its not our cat so i can't neuter him- am very annoyed with the owner whoever it is.. what is pre made pet odour?
-
Jack, since you know the owner, is it possible to ask nicely for her to consider getting him done?
-
He is done, but I can still smell it so it must be overwhelming to my cats...

:innocent: :sneaky:
Many toms live on the streets, they roam too far from 'home' and never get back :(
Normal bio laundry product or something sold for pet odours, such as simple solution, either would work at breaking down the urine

Thanks, I did as you said with the bio washing powder and I have put some scent off crystals down as well, this seems to have helped a lot.
If owners took better care of their animals by getting them neutered, perhaps they wouldn't wander as much :(
