Is this snake oil or a possibilty that it really might help?. I ordered some for Alice from VetUK. It was the bit about night yowling that interested me. Also she is spending far too much time in her bed :Luv2:

Not tried it, but my sister actually gave me a leaflet on it because she thought it might help Mog. :Luv: (My sister is more of a "dog person" so I was quite touched she'd thought of her. She fusses the cats when she's round but has never chosen to take one on herself.)

Interesting :) - it has pyridoxine which is vitamina B4,or is it B6? think its 6, found it lots ofmeats esepcailly chicken, liver and kidneys. Vitamin B's are very important.

The nutritionist recommends B vits (amongst other things) for stomach issues as well so hopefully it will help her tum as well.
I bought 30 pack for £10 - it is worth 30p a day to not have to listen to her bellowing for me - it is blood curdling :evillaugh:
I had a quick look but will have a look tomorrow. It mentions brain synapses etc - we were doing that today  - Liz, my lecturer said we won't be doing dissections as brains are the only thing that make even her want to hurl  :evillaugh:

Has she had her BP checked? when Sasha came to me she was yowling lots , real blood curdling, and thats whenI found out she had high BP. Yowling's less now she's on BP tabs.
-
I don't think so. I will have a word with the vet - thanks Gillian.
-
How much is it to have a BP test roughly?
-
IT cost me £12 to have Ginger's tested, but that is about 4 years ago, so assume it has gone up.
-
I've just called my vets. It would cost around £25 apparently - I'm thinking maybe Mog would benefit; I've not had her done before because (And I know this is terribly archaic of my vets) they didn't have a machine last year! :shy: I asked my favourite vet before she emigrated if she would talk to the man who owns the practice; she obviously did. Hurrah for her! (I miss that vet....)
Mark, if you try the Senilife let me know how Alice goes with it.

Pyridoxine is b6 gillian, used to make it into a cream ;D
Hope it works mark

I hope so too - she was howling at 2am. I had 3 hours sleep the night before at 4 last night
-
I'd definitely get her bp checked Mark, and poss her thyroid levels.

I hear ya. :care: Mog is currently sat on my knee sniffing my hands while I try and type....she was my "furry" alarm clock yet again this morning. :tired:

Part of the lack of sleep was assignment deadlines but I feel guilty going to bed at times. She also seems to sense college days and becomes very agitated. I suppose it is because I am bustling around feeding and doing trays while the coffee is brewing. One the days I am home, she happily settles down for a nap after breakfast. ANyway, I am off for 3 weeks so she can have some attention :Luv2:

It arrived today. You snip the end off a capsule and squeeze it onto the food. I put it on her Salmon but she won't touvh it. In the en, I had to give her more Salmon. She is fine with the glucosamine but not the other stuff. I will have to try some other things.
