I got a surprise when I rummaged around in my bag at lunchtime yesterday. I've found toy mice and various toys in it in the past, but yesterday I came across a sock! a single, black sock (clean) :shify: All I know is I didn't put it there :shify: :shify: I'm used to Mosi sticking his head in my bag on a regular basis but that's usually to see what he can steal, not to put things in. Maybe he thought my feet might get cold at work? Vvery odd.
Mosi also has a new game. My new living room carpet is paler than the last one and when I have the light on, it gets shadows which fascinate Mosi. So he follows me around pouncing on my shadow (and tripping me up in the process). He refused to eat his breakfast this morning because he was having too much fun chasing shadows :innocent: Suppose it's a cheap game but I'm getting a bit fed up with him pouncing on a shadow a foot in front of me all the time

It is until you go flying because he's pouncing at your feet when you thought he was actually in the other room!

Chasing shadows has become the no.1 game for Mosi now. It has surpassed playing with the lions even. Now that he's got it in his head that there are shadows on the floor, he's pouncing on them even in rooms where there must have been shadows before but he didn't really bother. When my kitchen light was broken and I used a lamp in the kitchen, there would be shadows on the wall and he would pounce at them daily, but he never bothered with shadows on the floor. Now he is constantly pouncing on my shadow and he even pounced on Jaffa's shadow yesterday  which is, I suppose, better than pouncing on Jaffa himself! Everywhere I go, there is Mosi one step ahead of my and pouncing on everything shadowy that moves :shify:
-
This is turning into an obsession now. He's constantly pouncing on shadows on the floor, on the wall, anywhere! He even pounced at the reflection of the litter tray scoop in the litter last night when I was cleaning the tray. And then I saw him acting oddly in the kitchen. He was looking at his own reflection in the kitchen floor and pouncing on it - which in turn made his reflection move so he pounced on it again....  Got to give him full marks for entertaining himself.

I think Poot must have been reading this thread, as he was pouncing on his shadow last night, having never done it before  :evillaugh:
