Sharon asked me this morning if I would like to offer her a home but realistically, we have to draw the line at 3 cats due to their various issues with other cats. If anyone is interested, I'm sure Sharon could find a photo although she is really busy at the moment. I'm sure she said the cat's name is Emily.
Not easy trying to rehome a 16 year old but hopefully there is someone out there for her.

Think you have been realistice Mark
Hope she finds a home soon, love her heart x
-
don't feel bad Mark, we all have limits I know I couldn't add to my mix without setting Star back (she has become a cuddle cat after 3 1/2 years!!!)
-
Any news on Emily?
-
Emily is actually "Betty! and is on our website.. She is probably older then 16yrs.. Currently residing at our Welfare Officers home...
-
Ah right :), Mark said he was unsure of her name, hope she soon gets a lovely home xx
-
I don't know who chooses all these "old lady" names but I like them for senior cats :Luv2:
I keep meaning to ask who named Alice. We were going to change her name but decided it suited her so well as she is such a lady (apart from the stinkers she leaves in the tray :evillaugh: )
-
I quite like them too Mark, my mum was called Betty and her mum (my gran) was called Alice :Luv:
-
Even a lady has an alimentary canel, Mark :evillaugh:
Good luck for little Betty. :Luv:

No canel chanel No5 odour from the tray :evillaugh:
Honestlly, I bag it and bin it upstairs but the smell lingers for quite some time  - she has a knack of waiting until we eat
I use a natural spray but have to be careful of water bowls etc.

My Grans were Ethel and Rebecca - not really kitty names :evillaugh:

I've heard of a few Ethels :)

Aww my gran was Betty :Luv:
I just SO love the older cats (in a way the older the better) but Katie the minx wouldn't put up with it
Fingers crossed for her :Luv2:

Sharon told me this morning that Betty might be staying with Caroline. She couldn't be in a better place really. Quite a few "fosters" have lived their retirement out at caroline's house. Nice big garden for the summer and a range for the winter :)
This is Caroline's dog Miah with a foster kitten - she mothers them :Luv2:

That sounds ideal for her, fingers crossed xx
:Luv: lovely photo

I have a huge stash of various renal foods that Clapton won't eat so I will drop them off at Caroline's next week. Hopefully Betty isn't as fussy :evillaugh:
-
Sadly.. Betty was PTS today.. Renal failure and breathing problems... She had been with us since Christmas.. Found in a terrible state and taken to our vets, we thought she was very elderly.. But at least she has a few months of TLC... RIP Betty, wish we knew your life story abit more.. A gentle puss cat with minimal needs in life, warm bed and nice food.
-
Poor Betty. At least she was loved, well fed and kept warm at Caroline's. Poor baby. :(
I don't know how Caroline manages.
-
Ahh poor Betty. RIP little one.
-
Aww, I am sorry to hear this, but at least she got to end her life in a warm, loving home environment. hugs to Caroline, I know it isn't easy to keep helping oldies.
-
RIP Betty, glad you knew affection before you went to the Rainbow Bridge.
-
:'( Poor sweet little Betty, thankfully she had love and care before she passed.
RIP little Betty, Godbless xx

What a sweet looking old girl Betty looked and so pleased she had love and care
