Poor Floddy from the Clan Cats is currently at the vets awaiting a major mouth going over - she was dribbling last night and wasn't letting daddy have a look despite weighing in at 3kgs and a pair of welding gauntlets this little ladies claws were flying so she spent the night in the cat room and I took her to the vet this morning on my way to work
She is having bloods taken and then the vets will do whatever they need to do - the nurse is quite funny she said I like your attitude do whatever is required but watch her claws
So if Floddy could have some thoughts it would be appreciated she is 13 years and 1 month old today!

Flody had them all fooled despite me telling them she has a very quick left and right - they found that out when trying to get bloods :evillaugh:
She has had antibiotics, an anti inflamatory and a steroid jab and is currently on her Daddies knee
We are back on Wednesday for a check - no surgery although she will need whats left of her teeth done once the roof of her mouth heals up
No idea how she did it as she doesn't go out in the winter she is an April to September girl, lives on top of the kitchen cupboards on her therma balnket and we have no sharp objects or chemicals that could have caused it - i am paranoid about chemicals etc and my 2 remaining hosue plants are cat friendly and out of reach for obvious reasons!
So we will just have to wonder how she did it - a cat cam is becoming more of a necessity as I would love to know what they do all day and OH will be way 4 days a week from next week so will be missing his kids a lot more!

Floddy is somewhat unique in the Clan cats as we adopted her from friends who hit hard times in 2000, she has been to New Zealand and back with her former folks and hates being shut in - the quarrentine wasn't good for this lady so she has been with us for 10 years now - her old folks are Dubai now
She is very solitary and really doesn't like the other cats much, her and the Number 1 Top cat Sweetie have mellowed in their senior years and will now sit 2 foot apart without langauge unbecoming a lady!
She is outcold in the cat room hooded bed with her tea, whenI left this morning she was on her thermafleece on top of the cupboards, same place at lunch time and again this evening but got up when I got her special ill food bowl out!
She thanks you all for your good wishes and will report the vets blood loss tomorrow! :evillaugh:
