Title: Over grooming each other
Post by: jerry1 on January 21, 2010, 22:42:35 PM
I have now had our adopted ragdolls now for about two months. They are mum,and son. They seem to be grooming each other rather a lot. In fact, mum has licked and nibbled her boy so much above his eye,he has developed a small bald patch. They have been fully wormed and de fleed
so i dont think the problem is there. I have been watching them today and twice she has started nibbling around his bald spot.
Is there anything anybody can suggest to stop her going for that spot?

 :welcome:

Have mum and son been checked by a vet to make sure there is no underlying reason for the baldness and overgrooming such as ringworm?

 :welcome: to Purrs...  :)

I would give them another vet visit, maybe it was too early to be spotted!  ;)

Hi and  :welcome: to Purrs

Yep I'd take them back to the vet to double-check if it persists, good luck
