Title: thoughts for the Glod for tomorrow, her last day

My friend's cat, Marigold, always know as The Glod, is dying of kidney and liver failure. She fell ill and was in hospital in December and apparently had a good Xmas but is now pitifully ill and is dying. She stopped purring today and her little body is cooling and she is just lying there. The vet is going around to the house tomorrow at 12 to put her to sleep.  Please send your thoughts and prayers that it will be peaceful.

Little Glod was such a fierce cat in her prime. She saw off all the other cats from the house, including her own daughter but in her latter years she mellowed a lot and became a purry lapcat. Glod is about 16 years old I think.

Aw, poor Glod  :(

Wishing her a speedy and peaceful journey to  Rainbow Bridge tomorrow, she'll certainly have her pick of Purrs furkids to be friends with  :hug: :hug:

Gloddy passed peacefully, lying on a red cushion next to the bathroom radiator. She's buried in the front garden, her garden. My friend says thanks to everyone for the thoughts.
