OMG I have just realised that I haven't introduced Olivia to you all. Olivia is an "old style" seal point siamese and she is my Mum and Dads newest little baby. As you know Mum and Dad recently got LuLu and Bella the stunning little tonkinese's, who are incredibly well adjusted, friendly and inquistitive little souls they are also VERY quiet!!!! My Mum and dad have always been fans of the foreigns and siamese's in particular because they "talk". So when my mum got a call from one of the breeders she had approached a few months ago saying they had a little girl whose new home had fallen through and would they be interested in her my Mum jumped at the chance. 1 week before xmas Mum and Dad drove down to Kent for a "no obligation viewing" (LOL ... of course we all know there is no such thing as no obligation viewing when it comes to kittens - especially one you particular want) and needless to say they came home with Olivia. The breeder said Mum and Dad could have her on a months trial to make sure she settled in with the others OK and if she didn't they would have her back to breed from as she is stunning.
Unlike Bella and LuLu, Olivia is still a little bit nervous of new people but once she realises the visitors are OK she will come out of hiding and is a real little lap cat with a loud purr and much to my Mum's delight an equially loud voice.
Within 3 days of arriving she and LuLu were curled up together in the bed by the radiator and now all three girls snuggle up and wash each other. She went off to see Mr Vet last Wednesday to be spayed and is now a fully integrated member of the family.
So here she is:
Day 1 ... she had literally just arrived:

:omg: :blow kiss: What an angel :Luv2:
-
She is Helen and she has the most amazing blue eyes ... the pics don't really do her justice as she just seems to have "red eye" from the flash (that's even with the red reduction on! LOL)
-
:drool; :drool; :drool; need I say more! :Luv2:
-
OMG she's gorgeous!!!!! :wow: :Luv2:
-
She's lovely :Luv: :Luv: - I always photograph the blue eyes without the flash because the dreaded red eye is even worse with blue eyed cats.
-
She is lovely and pleased she has settled in so well ;D
Yes blued eyed cats have red eye even in electric light, very hard to get blued cat pics......sigh
-
She is stunning :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:. I do love the old style Siamese, the latest examples of the breed seem to have been stretched by their noses and ears!!
-
She is lush!!! aawww!

I love the picture of the the two cats curled up in the bed by the radiator, it looks sooo luxurious, the sort of scene were you could imagine a lady with her feet up eating chocolate.
Sh,e lovely, but then i have a soft spot for the seal point look, i love the contrast between the dark face and light body and blue eyes.
