Next Friday I have him booked in for his *ahem* procedure. They are also going to have a look and decide if they want to do something to his eye at the same time. I'm worried, even though I know it's a pretty standard thing to have done. My poor baby is going to hate me for this! :scared:

Ali I can assure you that Akamaru has been through far worse in his life and bounced back with vigor, he is a little fighter and hopefully he will sail through this and all will be well with his eye. Sending lots of :hug: and positive vibes to you both.

Well I've just dropped him off at the vet. :scared:
They have decided to leave his eye alone as apparently it is too slight to worry about now. Apparently a little scar has formed joining the 3rd eyelid to his bottom eyelid, but the vet said not to worry about it as it shouldn't hurt him in any way. He said that if they break down the scar tissue, it is likely that it will just re-connect. He said that if it ever becomes a problem they would look at it then, but leave it for now.

Well I've just picked him up and the little trouper is fine. He must smell of the V.E.T. though as Vader has hissed at him a bit. (Just like he did when Tachi had his teeth taken out) I'm sure they'll be fine. I'll just keep an eye out though. :scared:
Akamaru doesn't seem fazed at all. I'm quite surprised really. The V.E.T. said he is gorgeous and that I HAVE to give him a special tea tonight. :rofl:

Just a quick update. Don't know why on earth I was worried, he certainly is back to normal. He's currently running around chasing Tachi up and down the stairs. :rofl: You wouldn't know he'd had an op last week.
