When I went home last night he was waiting to be let in like he'd never been gone. He's been well fed and he's grown so much. He started palying straight away with Harvey but in the end it was Harvey that was starting it :evillaugh: .Throwing himself at him and it was rough and tumble play and chasing each other so fast they were bouncing off the walls. In the first pic he looks brown but in the second pic thats what he looks like normally. I'm just so glad he's come back and he's not going out for a long long time :)

How long had he been gone?
I love gorgeous black cats :Luv:
-
He's been missing for 3 weeks. I was beginning to lose hope.
-
Awwwww yay! Glad he came back :)
I wonder what stories he would tell about his little excursion if he could!
-
I wonder too :). Magnum tried to get him to play with him but Sebastian was too ingrossed in playing with Harvey. Obviously he'd had enough of being beaten in the games he played with Magnum and wanted to win this time :) Toffee was just a grumpy git as usual. Can't really blame him what with his bad eyesight. So you can imagine the noise last night with 3 toms playing.

Yeayyyyyy Brill news Cathy ;D ;D ;D ;D
Now you little moster Seb, no more disapearing acts to worry ya mum. :Nooooo:
Oo need pics of Seb & Harvey playing ;) ;D

Not yet but thats the first thing on the menu when I have the money.I'm going to get in contact with the CPL see if they can help as I'm on the dole (Job seekers allowance) at the moment.

Forever that is not an automatic right, one can ask but it depends how much money the branch has in its voucher account. They can most certainly give you £26 for spays and £20 for neuters.
Catz I will say however, in this case if the local branch cannot give you the help needed to enable you to have your cats 'done' now please send me a personal message.

When I have used a voucher from the CP I have always paid £10 donation, its not fair to expect them to pay full price and leave no donation, they are helping us out after all.
-
ccmacey:if u go to pdsa u can get it done for 9pound for female and 5 male anyway

In about 16 years I have only ever known that happen about um, let me see, I know I will start counting . 1 um 1 um 1 um 1. Oh! I remember now once. Mind you I donlt mind, my only interest is to get the cats 'done'
-
Aww, am glad he is home - do make sure you get him for a check up asap just to be on the safe side. And fingers crossed CP can help you out with vouchers to get them done.

As you know not everyone qualifies for PDSA, also will they do any number of cats or just one.
-
yea but ccmacey said she does qualify for pdsa
they will do up to 3cats
-
All my cats have been neutered/ spayed anyway and that offer was just on for Feb.
Ela I have always made the £10 donation I would think it wrong not to and I have a conscience.

I think you will find that the 3 is PDSA in hospitals and clinics. Many parts of the country do not have access to them and only have access to a private vets who does some work for the PDSA, in these case you can only register 1 pet and even then they only cover certain postcodes.

I don't doubt it, but you really are the exception to the rule. All credit to you
-
Am so pleased he's back Catz. As Ela says I suspect someone may have taken him in.
Good idea to get them neutered as soon as you can. Seb's a very lovely cat - as are Toffee and Magnum too of course! Glad they're all back together again - like the Three Musketeers! ;D
-
oh i see i didnt know that
well in this pdsa in portsmouth they do spaying/neuterin at that price all the time and it says its courtesy of the cpl .
-
Yes I go to a PDSA hospital and can register 3 pets, you can only register 1 pet at a private vets.
The PDSA do not do neuterers/ spays just out of necessity, they will only do them if there is a medical reason, this is how it was before the CP had the offer there which isn't running anymore (I don't think? )

Sorry ladies I'm deleting some of the posts here as it's not fair on Cathys post that Seb is back home safe.

No need to apologise.

Just phoned the CPL for Wear Vally and Darlington district. I have to send a letter to them explaining my circumstances and how many cats that need to be neutered, their sex and ages and 2 stamped addressed envelopes. 1 to me and 1 to the vets that I want to do the ops. Then its just a case of waiting till I get a reply from them saying that the vouchers are waiting at the vets for me.
-
Excellent news that Sebastian is back home ... the little tinker has obviously been off having a mini holiday!
-
Catz why the SAE? Cant you just phone the vets and ask if they have arrived? Im sure they wont take long through the post.
My black cat looks brown like that too sometimes, funny.

Oh! dear I know branches like that, although with me when I receive a phone call I just take name address, name of cat, age and then send the caller an authority to go to the vet of their choice. The vet rings me after the op and I send the voucher to the vet. Simple
-
Catz why the SAE?
1 is to send a voucher to the vets, the other is to send a copy of the voucher to the person wanting the voucher. As advised I don't bother with that I just pay the psotage myself. Otherwise it comes out of branch funds.

:cheer: :cheer: :cheer:
I'm so happy that he has come back to you safe and well.
-
great news, you could try what i am going to do with my sebastian...chop his ruddy feet off !!!!
-
Now that's an idea  but he's never going out again until he's been neutered. He's been really cuddly and following me around too. As I walk from room to room I turn around and he's there right behind me demanding to be picked up and cuddled. :Luv:
-
Awww so glad to hear that he is back ..if he hasn't be done he could have well been off romancing ..hope you are able to get some help with the snip for him it is so worrying when they wander off !!!!

Fantastic news :Luv: :Luv:
