We had a couple of sofas and a couple of armchairs delivered this morning (courtesy of Multiyork sale :evillaugh: )
Within seconds, Kylie was scratching one of the sofas :scared:
Then she picked on of the armchairs as her own :Luv2:
You really can see what a big cat she is :Luv2:
-
A few more
-
I think it's safe to say that she approves of this purchase :evillaugh:
-
Well she has been rubbing her face on the corners of the arms which is preferable to the other kind of claiming it as her own :evillaugh:
-
Lovely pics, I bet you don't get a chance to sit on them anytime soon :evillaugh:
(Love the chairs too)
-
Well that chair is definitely hers as she had a run around the garden and went straight back to it :tired: :evillaugh:
I don't know why we bother getting nice things as they have to be swathed in throws if they are to have a chance :evillaugh:
-
Big is beautiful don't you know - shes gorgeous! :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
Oh yes, definitely has the Kylie seal of approval :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:
-
It's nice to see her relaxed as you can imagine the last couple of week the other cats didn't get much attention. Poor Clapton is hiding behind a sofa (the existing one in there :evillaugh: ) and has been since the delivery men were here nearly 3 hours ago - I just hope he will go for a wee soon.
-
Well done Kylie - looking as gorgeous as ever and getting comfy :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:

after coming out from behind the sofa, I hope :evillaugh:
Tiffany and Trigger never touched my leather sofa in 8 years, and Tosker has practically shredded it in 3 months - I have a new one coming next month, a much more expensive one too, so any tips as to how to deter him would be very welcome

If you find out can you tell me, ours have been shredded :hairrasin:

have just ordered two faux fur throws on E-Bay - hopefully if I cover the sofa for a while he will find somewhere else to strop his claws - like the cat tree only a foot away >:(
sorry to highjack Kylie's thread, Mark - she is a very handsome girl, and looks made for that chair - or should it be the chair looks made for her :evillaugh:
-
No doubt abouyt it Kylie loves the new furniture :Luv2:
-
like the cat tree only a foot away >:(
Is that cat tree big enough? the best tip I was given is get a really big tree so they can stretch.
-
What are you doing Mark buying dolls house furniture? :naughty:
Gorgeous girl, my chunky babba Kylie! :Luv2: :Luv2: :Luv2:

I bought a big cat tree a few years ago and they wouldn't go near it. It was almost 5ft high with a bed section in the top. I tried everything such as catnip, getting them to rub their paws on it etc but they were not remotely interested. It was a good one as well :tired: (Luckily I got it in a pet shop closing down sale) - it has had good use though as Caroline has it in her foster pen in the garden (although foster usually end up in the house as she normally fosters kittens with an indoor kitten room and oldies on their last legs who usually just lie in an armchair :) ) and plenty of other cats have enjoyed it :)
-
Mark so considerate of you and Dennis to buy that nice new furniture for her and the colour makes her look gorgeous in the photo! ;D
-
Ah the big putty tat enjoys new furniture, right she is!
-
I pinched the new PAH fleece I bought for Clapton a while ago as he isn't using it :evillaugh:
-
That's better Mark - you're looking after her properly now - maybe she just needs a pillow or a cushion too  :Luv2:

Strips of sellotape were they scratch works well on fabric furniture but dont use on leather!! I did and when I pulled it off it took top layer of hide with it :(
-
Not satisfied with nabbing the new chairs, I sorted out my revision stuff and planned to start properly (about a week behind) I had all my books etc laid out on the coffee table, went to get a drink and came back to kylie laid out exactly where I was sitting :evillaugh: - I woiuldn't mind but there are 2 sofas!
btw - I have no idea how the pillow got there as I don't plan on having a nap for long
-
There's nowt nicer than a pre heated seat, clever girl Kylie! :Luv2:
-
awww, how cosy does she look :Luv2:
Byron is the same Mark always choosed my seat (and a pillow is always a good idea I find when studying although Byron usually ends up on that! :evillaugh:)
-
I went into the dining room/new sitting room last night and Clapton was parked on the other new sofa ;D
The dynamics have changed a bit and he is becoming more confident. As soon as I grabbed the camera, he moved and wanted to play with the strap :evillaugh:
-
I :Luv: Clapton :)
-
I was hoping to get a decent one but he wouldn't stay still :evillaugh:
I can never understand people who don't allow pets on furniture - it is a family room after all :evillaugh:
We are trying to stop kylie sharpening her claws on the sofas though :scared:
I tried to film him but there was only a tablr lamp on in the corner so not very good.

Glad to see Kylie's sharing with Clapton - when do you and Dennis get your turn? Bet you 2 have been sent to the attic  :naughty:

LMAO. I burst out laughing when I noticed you hadn't even got time to take the tags off before Kylie laid claim to the armchair. Almost like she was waiting on the delivery for herself. :ha ha :
*Sigh* you gotta love 'em though. (I love the double sided fleece/fur blanket btw). Don't want Mols to hear......she'll want one :shify:
