Anyone who's read my thread will know that I was having problems with Pepsi sitting and staring at us while we were eating, and begging for food. However, I've just discovered a sure-fire way of stopping her from doing this :wow:
Tonight I sat down on the sofa with a plate of tea, took my scarf off and put it on the sofa next to me. Pepsi jumped up, started walking over it to push her nose into my plate, and sort of did a little double take like 'ooooh scarf!' and started purring and kneading on it :Luv: She was so distracted by it I managed to eat most of my tea in peace, and if she stopped and started sniffing the plate again I'd pick her up, put her back down on it and she'd be like 'oooh scarf!' all over again :evillaugh:
Here's a blurry phone pic:

she's just gorgeous Claire - how could you begrudge her half your dinner ;)
those whiskers in particular are just magnificent
I never have problems with begging cats - think it might be something to do with the curry or chilli which I put in 90% of my food

I can give you a 100% fix of your problem ... you can post her to me :naughty: :naughty:
She is soooooooooo gorgeous :Luv2: :Luv2:

She's doing it on purpose, you'd think she was starved and malnourished from the looks she gives you while you're eating :evillaugh: Plus she'll usually get scraps while I'm cooking in the kitchen, but most of what we eat has onions in and like you, OH has a mountain of some sort of chilli product on his food. Still doesn't stop her staring at him though!
Den, I'll just find an envelope big enough....
Thanks everyone, Pepsi would say thanks but she's still too distracted by the scarf, she's sending purriness though

:Luv2: She's so beautiful Claire

Shes really stunning! :Luv2:
I have a problem with my lot at meal times and food prep but certain people (the same ones that moan about it most :evillaugh: ) continue to offer treats and scraps off their plates, cant blame the cats for learning a tasty association, does drive me mad tho :tired:

Aw thanks everyone :) We came home tonight from a party to find that she'd celebrated New Year by finding her bag of treats, managing to somehow claw her way through it, and scoffing about half of the bag  Hope everyone had a cracking New Year and all the best for 2010 to everyone and their lovely furbabes :Party 3: :Luv:

Glad you found something to distract her - shame your scarf will now be covered in dribble and shredded :evillaugh: Pepsi is just :blow kiss: though
