Title: Happy ending!

I'm a newbie to rescue work, and I've just come home after doing homecheck for a kitten we had signed over for rehoming.  The new family were so nice and sensible and soooooo excited about their new kitty!  In his previous home Simon had to live in the garden shed because one of the kids was allergic to him, and it's brilliant to think how much happier he's going to be in his new life.  I've had a horrible day at work and I was wondering why I bothered getting out of bed this morning, but it all seems worth it now!
