Title: Howie caught his first mouse!

So, after 18 Months of bringing home leaves, stones, worms and discarded hamburgers from neighbour's BBQs, Howie came marching triumphantly home with a mouse in his jaws last night.  I hate seeing any kind of animal in distress, so I gave Howie plenty of congratulations and hugs then put the little mouse out of it's misery pretty sharpish.

Big deal, I hear you say, but hunting and catching prey means everything to a little cat - it's what they live for. 8)

I'm so proud of him but at the same time, I hope he doesn't figure out where all the the local mice hang out or things could get messy.... :evillaugh:
