How soon is too soon to move a kitty onto adult food?

Akamaru has decided that he prefers Tachi and Vader's food to his own.  I must say, he's like a little hungry hippo. His dinner is gone in 2 seconds flat.

Imo it wont hurt him, cats were fine before all these specific stage foods arrived!

that's true - there used to be just one variety of cat food - pink stinky Kit-E-Kat in tins and that was it

I can still smell it if I close my eyes :sick:
