In time for the Purrs Christmas Auction, Spice decided to get into the festive spirit by donning a kitty-sized Santa hat. He had no idea why everyone suddenly made a big fuss of him but one thing was for sure, his ears were very warm.....

Yes, Spice is a Birman, although he behaves like a little dog most of the time. He actually wore that hat for the rest of the evening while he snoozed on the sofa, bless him!

It would be my pleasure! :) Please post a link here when you've added it so I can show Spice he's famous!

Aw bless. I hope you get lots of calls from people now - that face must make them feel like they want to adopt or foster.
Good luck

Oh my! I can actually feel the tears welling up. :'( Being a former rescue cat himself, it's so heartwarming to see Spice encouraging people to adopt a rescue and shows just how far he has come in the six months he's been with us :) I hope you have lots of interested people getting in touch now that they've seen the real Santa Claws on your website! ;D

I felt the same when the RSPCA wanted to use a photo of my Bonnie to advertise Elderly And Rehoming Scheme (EARS) in Halifax.
That was the 2nd photo I took of her in my house with the sheepsking rug on the settee for her.

Spice's sister Sugar is quite distinctive-looking too. She's a blue-point and quite a strong character. There's no way on Earth she was going to allow herself to stoop to playing Santa Claws with me! :evillaugh: Perhaps your Birmans are related to my Birmans? It's quite a small breeding community apparantly, so they could have a common ancestor!

Can I can one of them in my stocking this year please! :wow: :Luv2:
