The editorial team at The Cat magazine, the official publication of Cats Protection, are researching a feature about people who met their partner as a result of their cat.
Did your cat wander into the home of your ideal partner? Did your eyes meet over the pet food aisle in the supermarket? Did your vet turn out to be Mr or Mrs Right?
We need your stories so get in touch!
-
Now that you are here Cat Team I hope you take the opportunity to have a good look round Purrs and not just use this as an advertizing opportunity because we do not allow advertizing on this forum.
If any member chooses to contact the Cat Team, please do it by pm or email only not via the forum.
Should the Cat Team decide they would like to help Purrs and get some free advertising too, then we are looking for donations to our Christmas auction and I am sure that a coplue of subscriptions would go down well in the bidding. ;D
If Cat Team you would like to help us raise money for Sunny Harbour the rescue we are auctioning for this year, please write on this thread and a member of the auction team will contact you by return..........wont you Christine ;) ;)

The Cat magazine IS Cats Protection, not a commercial magazine.

I think cats are more likely to have ruined relationships than forged them

Sorry Cat Team was mixing it up with one of the other mags ;D
However maybe CP can offer a couple of gifts for our auction as we also support some of their branches ;D ;D
Replies to Cat Team off forum please.

Thank you for supporting Cats Protection... If we get some good material for the feature we may well consider donating for the auction!

If they have stories that involve their cats finding them love too, get them to get in touch! Thanks!

I think this may be a difficult one....I know in the right relationship if you both have mutual love for your babes then this can enhance the relationship!
Men who love cats have a certain quality about them! ;)

Yes. Me and my new partner fell for each other thanks to our love for cats!
-
Mine didn't find me love, but they did help me avoid making a few mistakes. I have always felt that the way a person treats an animal reveals their inner self. If they are casual or cruel to the animal, they will be that way with you once the 'glamour' phase of the relationship wears off. So a few men have been shown the door as a result ...

Ha ha. My attention to detail is not very good. I always half-read threads! Sorry guys!!!
-
But great to see you again ;D
-
The initial post was very clear. Good for pointing out the error.

Doesn't really fit the request but I had a cat that used to vet my boyfriends. She would widdle on their shoes then jump up on their laps, look them in the eye as if to say "what you going to do about that then?" I ended up marrying the first one that simply tickled her chin and asked for a tissue.
