I have now, isn't there a law against that, something like incitement to animal cruelty? Why was there an asylum seekers jibe as well? :censored:

The bloke is an idiot and I have emailed the newsdesk tonight pressing a formal complaint.

I would lik to read the article before making a complaint to them. If it is as it seems, no more Sunday Times for me.

What a venomous, horrible man. I'm definitely complaining - if it's a joke it's one in very poor taste.

I found a link to the story - I am sure there are others. I am glad to see she has received death threats and sincerely hope someone follows through  >:( http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1223626/Woman-kills-neighbours-cats-anti-freeze-stop-urinating-strawberries.html

I don't swallow all the tosh about "regretting her actions" - it was premeditated murder of innocent animals  :mad2:

Rod Liddle - a former editor of the Today programme - is a journalist who always sets out to be highly provocative in his Sunday Times column.  He will no doubt be delighted with any complaints.  The best way to preclude more of the same at a later date is to ignore it.

I agree. Plus not buying the ST is a good idea too. (saves trees too as it's mountains of paper every week).  I'm sure everything about Rod is liddle anyhow. Since whatserface in the Mail (another paper I avoid), the columnists are trying to outdo each other in being "controversial". Tedious imho. Fire them all and let's have more news in the papers!
