Title: RIP Spider (BCIC)
Post by: JackSpratt on October 25, 2009, 10:23:29 AM
Another Blackpool Cats in Care boy passed away. Nine year old Spider came to Nicky due to his owner developing an allergy. Unfortunately, the poor boy got seriously ill recently and the vets were baffled by what was wrong.

Nicky said he was a lovely boy who liked the quiet life.

RIP Spider.

:( aww what a shame, it's so sad when they don't chance of a new loving home.  Didn't they not find out what was wrong?

RIP Spider xx

Not as far as I could tell from the emails, Janey. Sometimes they don't though, do they? The email I received telling me about this was doubly sad because Nicky has to let an old girl called Bambi go tomorrow too; she's feeling very stressed and upset at the moment.

Well no I suppose not and especially if they have no history to go on either.  Poor Nicky she must be stressed.

I get that impression. I know she was fond of Spider as she'd mentioned him in emails a few times before I was sent full details.

assuming Spider and Bambi were not going to make it anyway, they have still been rescued

not sadly for a better life, but certainly for a better death, and I think that is very worthwhile

so   for Nicky, and a better life on the bridge for SPider and Bambi
