Title: Baxter needs a birthday!

I've just worked out one of my little men is nearly 1 year old and trying to decide when his birthday should be! I know he is 8 weeks older than Basil and Basil is 1 on the 17th of December so his birthday must be about nowish. Tempted to either a) make his birthday the day our purrs order arrives b) give him the same birthday as Basil. Tried asking OH but he doesn't feel that cats birthdays are that important (he's scared of letting me loose in the purrs shop) as the cats won't even know but I like making a fuss of them giving them a nice dinner and a toy that I know they will love. It's really silly but it's only 4 tins of applaws and a new toy 4 times a year so it doesn't really cause any harm  :Luv:

ps haven't posted in a month or two because my computer broke.

Glad you're back on-line again  ;D

I think Baxter will be pleased with any date you decide, if it means extra treats and cuddles  :Luv2:

Well, when I don't know the date they are born, I just make their birthday the 1st of the month going about 6-8 weeks back. So I've had lots of cats celebrating a birthday on the 1st of a month.
Now Noa came here early June, but I thought April 1st was not nice, so she has March 31st  ;D
Must say I had to change this system, as my son likes to give them a birthday close to his own if possible.

You could use his adoption date too

I made Bonnie's birthday the same as her adoption day cos I never knew her birthday.

It would be a good idea to say is birthday is when you get the Purrs order through - big celebration then. :hug:

Yeah think I'll make it offical when the order arrives as I ordered the bergan track espically with my Baxter in mind as he loves to bat stuff around (espically balls) and hopefully this way he can play for longer as his play is always stopped when he punts it under the couch. I just can't believe they have been here for 7 months already and how big and brave he is getting.
