:welcome: to Purrs
I think you should be grateful he prefers twigs to birds and mice :evillaugh: Not quite the same as they get their 'prey' from inside the house but I frequently wake up with a drinking straw under the covers
-
All of ours are very generous with their gifts. I was particularly inpressed with Fredcats offering of a fully grown pheasant. :evillaugh:
-
:welcome: to Purrs, Catinahat: glad you found us and decided to join in ;D I think it's sweet that Toby's little tokens of esteem are twigs. ;)
-
Yes my Macey brings me long pieces of grass :evillaugh:
-
Lola brings me pink or red flowers, normally carnations and fuschias :Luv2: the best thing she ever brought home was a red feather and leather tickler :heeee heeee:
Other gifts are twigs, feathers, slugs, straws, lollipop sticks, leaves and old food, crusts, biscuits etc
-
Harry has brought a sausage home before it didnt look all that nice
-
Welcome to Purrs!!
Anyone want to trade a stick for Mr Ts offering of half a daddy-long-legs ? :evillaugh:
-
Feliz came in last week making the typical "I have something" noise. I was terrified, was not up to facing a mouse, but no, it was a leaf
-
It's an interesting question you ask, Catinahat :) Any specific reason you are asking it?
-
Zephyr reguarly brings me earth worms (alive, unhurt and still wriggling) and banana skins :scared: He came home the other week with an empty crisp bag!
-
Pixie once came home with a gravy soaked yorkshire pudding.
Arty is the collector of strange things though. Some of his best have included the bone from a lamb roast, a pepperami, a muffin and an ever increasing collection of feathers. He tried to get a pigeon through the catflap once but he couldn't manage it!
He also likes to bring me presents in bed, from the kitchen, which have included a 2kg bag of oats, a large fruit cake, a bag of rasins and an egg.
Gotta love kitties and their funny ways :Luv2:

if I ever were to live with an outdoor cat, I would gladly take twigs over dead critters! :evillaugh:  :tired:
-
I found a lovely live wiggly worm in the hall...abandoned, and enough leaves to make a nice collage! :evillaugh:
-
Tilly always brings a particular toy mouse into me.. the poor mouse is completely battered, stuffing coming out, but she loves it!.
My sister's cat, Freddie is a terror, he regularly brings slow worms back to the house.. as well as the ocassional mouse :evillaugh:
-
ive had half a decomposed frog... which i thought was a leaf until i picked it up
and theres 5/6 toys that i regularly wake up to in bed
-
The other day I averaged a mouse every two hours & found two under the sofa all crisp & very dead. (Must check & clean more regularly under sofa)
A packet of screws
A rubber stopper
A rabbit
Stones
And twigs...
-
Teabag came in yesterday with a 4 foot twig attached the his tail !, he even managed to get it through the cat flap,
-
purrlishious, a pack of screws, a rubber stopper thats quite a haul!!!
Toby can in with a bird over the weekend, then its back to the twigs... i think he thinks hes a dog!!!!
-
I came down stairs today thinking one of the cats must of been sick....When I got closer it was a leaf!
