Title: When Chilli is Naughty She Does it in Spectacular Style!

7.30am there's an almighty crash and smashing of glass coming from the kitchen. Dave and I leap out of bed and find Chilli nonchalantly wandering into the bedroom as we discover utter chaos and mayhem. I have open shelves in my kitchen and Chilli likes to climb on one so I cleared it off of most things to accommodate this and in the hope all other shelves would be safe. No such luck.

Glass everywhere, all but two glasses and one wine glass survived. Even a jar of pasta sauce was killed in the atrocity. How on earth she managed to take out both shelves is a thing of awe of puzzlement.

It has taken me a good hour to clear up the mess and even then I'm sure I'll be finding bits of glass for weeks to come.

No treats for Miss Chilli today. You've got to love her though, completely unaware or not bothered (I suspect the latter) she tried to come for a cuddle as soon as I sat down after the cleaning! The sooner I can buy madam a tree to discourage the climbing of the shelves the better!

eeeek, she really did make a mess  :hug:

Glad you've got it all cleaned up now, be careful of glass though, no barefoot walking in the kitchen for a while  :hug:

Oh Chilli, you naughty girl!..  :doh:

I had team destruction moving through my place yesterday - Tilly and Jess were charging around together, they came hurtling into the front room, knocked all my paperwork onto the floor, along with some dvds and OH's xbox games..  :tired:

Oooh noooo most mornings I would cry if I got up to that.....then shut the door and go back to bed probably.

Im so glad Chillis making herself at home  :evillaugh:

Trust me tab, at 7.30am I very nearly did just go back to bed but none of my doors close securely so had little choice but to clean it up for the sake of preventing cut paws and vet visits!

At least when Dave is naughty he has the good grace to know he's been naughty and run away and hide for at least five minutes. Chilli however carries on as if nothing has happened, superior little madam :evillaugh:

I'm still quietly fuming :shify:
