She was sitting/laying down (can't remember exactly) on the rug and as she went to get up she wobbled and swayed a bit, as she did that, she sort of stumbled against a cardboard box. Touching the box seemed to spook her and she leapt in the air, as she landed she stumbled but then jumped in the air a couple more times, stumbling each time she landed. It was all split seconds really, then she looked a bit dazed (and very suspicious of the box!). She got on the settee afterwards, absolutely fine, had a bit of a sleep and still seems fine. She's walking ok, not limping or wobbling now. Very odd.
Thinking back though, a couple of weeks ago, she was asleep on the settee and as she woke up she sat herself up, and wobbled and swayed (like she felt dizzy) - I didnt think anything too much of it at the time, just thought its like us sometimes if we get up quickly and feel a bit dizzy - but now after tonight I'm not so sure.

I do hope Lacie is alright
I would be tempted to speak to the vet cos doubt if he can tell anything unless he ses it happen but worth asking

she could just have been dreaming - but it could be low BP - which is not a bad thing in itself, as long as she doesn't fall in a dangerous way

Hoping Lacie was just dreaming and she is okay

Fingers crossed its nothing Gillian

She couldn't have a touch of joint trouble causing her to stumble, could she? She would blame the box, if she bumped into it.

Ive got up quick out of bed a couple of times, still half asleep and fumbled about for a couple of mins....Hope its just down to this Gillian and nothing to worry about!

I've never noticed any stiffness or anything like that with her joints Christine - she runs like the wind up the garden LOL! She's only 6 yrs old so wouldnt have thought it would be that, but possible I guess - it was her reaction to the box - but she kept jumping after she'd moved away from the box.
I don't think she was actually asleep before it happened this time - she was just sitting ont he rug - which actually is unusual because she doesnt normally sit there.
Today she's ok, perhaps a bit restless, and following me around, which again, isnt something she normally does, but that just might be she's indoors more, now its got a bit chillier outside. I've got to take Zeta to the vet next week, so I may take Lacie too, or just have a word with the vet while I'm there.

I would, if only to put your mind at rest

It sounds a bit like a balance problem to me, and change of position can have big problems. This is often caused by a virus so has to burn itself out.
It could be so many things and thats the problem cos even with humans its hard to diagnose.

I hope it's nothing serious.
