Last night when I went to pick up OH from the station. I was driving slowly down a sidestreet and saw a ragdoll on the pavement - even though I drive really slowly, she cowered as I went past :( - apart from anything else, surely they are the kind of cat that the wrong kind of people might be tempted to take home with them? >:( - she seemed well groomed so I am amazed that someone would let her out on a street that is used as a rat-run.

I think they're one of the main breeds it's advised are kept indoors for their own safety. Being personable, people could literally pick up a ragdoll and walk off with it from what I've read. Hope the little one's OK - maybe it had escaped; if it cowered from the car it could be because it isn't used to them?

Raggies are the Blondes of the cat world - ours is anyway
Minmin has access to the great outdoors as she was never taught to use a litter tray and it was me or her for valium
I have to say she has lived with ferals for to long as it is impossible to pick her up outside unless you want to loose skin however on the inside she is everyones best freind and she likes to leave her hair everywhere - not to visitors black is not a good ragdoll colour!

JS could have a point there...Maybe they escaped! :shify:
It sounds like a route you have taken many times....So to just notice this little one now! :scared:

Fingers crossed if this babe had escaped, s/he is back home now.

Hope he/she is ok :scared:
eta: did you ever see the other one again at the station Mark?
-
No I never saw it again - I hope the owners saw sense but I doubt it. It was hanging around the station too much and trying to make friends with everyone. Sadly they don't realise not all people are nice :(

Hopefully they did and the cat is safe
