Tonight i feel as tho my heart is breaking, just found out that my darling Wizzy who disappeared 17months ago may have been poisoned, evidently just before he disappeared my next door neighbour had the council in to put some poison down for a pair of rats that were nesting in her garage (i didnt know about this ),
After he disappeared i contacted an animal communicator who told me he had died after eating a poisoned rat
I didnt believe this as Wizzy was not a hunter and ran the opposite way if a mouse so much as looked at him but tonight i was talking to my neighbours other half and he let slip about the poison so it looks as if the communicator was right
Im absolutely devistated as i always refused to give up hope on my little soldier coming home one day :( :(

That is so sad
I know peeps have been saying the poison wont kill cats but it so depends on what is used and the poisoned carcus can kill them .

You don't know for sure
-
 Aw hun, you will probably never know the truth of what has happened...much like me and my Lilly....don't beat yourself up over this, he may still be out there.

Bonnielass, I would not give another thought to what a so-called "animal communicator" might or might not say >:(
My own vet told me about a cat who had been reunited with his family after eighteen months. I can tell you the story if you'd like. Never give up hope

I thought you had strong suspicions she was a bit of a fraud as she only lived round the corner and knew that's how she knew the area to give you information? I wouldn't give it another thought. My Chilli came back (time before her recent escapades) after three months and others have been reunited after far longer.

I know it will be hard for you right now not to be thinking in this way, please give yourself a break hun as if this was so then he should of been found by now!
There is always hope so dont ever give up on your inner feelings! ;)

Oh Bonnielass, it is so sad when we have a baby out there somewhere. It is hard to know what to believe. We can only keep hoping until we know something for sure

So agree with Christine. It's a terrible thing to not know what really has happened to Wizzy and can only hope one day you will get her back

The first communicator was exposed as a fraud but the 2nd one was Pea Horsley who is supposed to be the real thing, and i know several on here have been in touch with her, i would love to know if they were given info leading to closier on their kittys, that was accurate in detail.
one thing she did say was that she wasnt 100% sure he had passed but she did give me a discription of my Meg (dog ) that died later and another dog that i lost 8 yrs ago, she discribed them both as playing and that was 100% correct so i dont know what to think

Oh BL I hope this isnt the case :(
The neighbours should of warned you so you could of kept the kitty's in >:(

Have pm'd you Sandra!

I shall restrict myself to saying that this seems to me to be a somewhat fundamental detail.
My vet has a patient who went missing for eighteen months, as I said, from his home in (I think it was) Dorset. His human moved to Fulham in the meantime and had completely given up hope of ever seeing the cat again.
One day, the chap received a phone call from his former next-door neighbour, who said: 'You're not going to believe this, but Tigger has just strolled into my garden and is sitting in the middle of the lawn.'
The two were reunited that same day and Tigger now lives happily in Fulham, just round the corner from me.

 i would have thought if he went out and ate a dodgy rat that he would come home to settle down after, it doesnt instantly affect them. Whenever my lot are under weather they settle in their fav place and stay there so dont give up hope, miracles happen and he could soon be home
