Now I won't be offended, regardless of the answer... Have the boys got big ears?! I was looking through some old pics of Tiggy and either she had freakishly small ears or they have freakishly large ears! :-:
Tiggy looked 'normal' to me when I had her and although the boys had big ears as kittens I don't think they look big now - until I was reminiscing over Tiggy's pics!
Comparison:

I have always thought that Riley has big ears ;D
I thought he would sorta grow into them but they obviously grew with him
-
Oh Helen :evillaugh: sorry for laughing
I think their ears just match them - they are just right, Pepper has really big earsl I think especially compared to Schui - his were really small. I love big ears but since having Schui I got to love ickle ones too :Luv:
-
The beautiful Tiggy had not small ears, I think.
Hmmm, it's fair to say that your lads have very large ears indeed. But that's fine, of course
-
:allears: :allears: :allears: :allears:
Sorry, I couldn't resist that one
I also thought Riley had long ears but they suit his face and don't look out of place - they're all sooo adorable.
You silly sausage.
Mary

:-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
Poor boys, I've covered their ears (needed a large pyrex dish to do it :evillaugh:)
Now I know they were big when they were little but I was genuinely blind to their big-earedness until now :-[
Big eared babies :-[

A subtle way of saying Yes :evillaugh:
And as for you Mary.... :slap: :naughty:
-
You shouldnt be embarrassed cos they look lovely and short ears probably wouldnt suit them ;D
All of mine have little ears and one set are nakid!

I think you should register him with SETI they could use the help :evillaugh:

Googled it and :slap:

Sorry Helen but I've been giggling away at this thread :evillaugh:
I think lots of cats have radar ears, they are gorgeous whatever size their ears are, and all the better to hear you with :) :Luv:
-
So Oliver is not the only one... :evillaugh: He had a pair of ginormous bat ears when he was smaller but now he has nearly tripled in size and the rest of him sort of grew into the ears. I would still think his ears are rather on the larger side perhaps because he is not of the cobby built, and I think Riley has the similar physique as he does(just less chunky lol). I consider them rather charming really :)

Zephyr has asked what exacly you have got against BIG ears >:( ?????
He would like to point out that big ears means he is able to hear his mummy when she calls him and thinks BIG ears are very fetching ;)
Just a little pic to prove that big ears are beautiful :Luv2: (as you can see Zephyr has always had bat tabs!)
-

You're not helping with the big ear prejudices with comments like that :evillaugh:
Oliver's ears look perfect to me :)
Sam, is Zephyr's pedigree name batfink by any chance :evillaugh:
-
Nah, not big ears ... Just small heads!

Well I've trawled through the photos of girls in the vain hope I'd have an excuse to post more pics of 'em but nope, both have utterly purrfect ears :naughty:
Perhaps it's a boy thing? :shify: :)
-
I think their ears are perfectly in proportion to their head shape. Tig had a different head shape and would have looked silly with bigger ears. It's a bit like humans, some are in proportion, some are not. Your boys are in proportion. ;D
-
Dougie says he'd be delighted to have two matching ears, regardless of size :evillaugh:
Lovely pics of Tiggy :Luv:

  NO it's not and Zephyr has just one thing to say to his ex-friend Helen :P :P :P
-
Oh, poor Dougie - the boys are now considering an ear reduction op and would be happy to donate the excess to him

We still need photographic evidence of this :Luv2:
Thanks BC, that's sounds a more likely scenario - proportionate :) They're still reeling from Christine's perception of them having 'very large ears indeed' :evillaugh:

Poor Riley has been given a complex...
Here he is literally minutes ago trying to hide his shamefully large ears :naughty:

Poor Riley. Pavarotti, when a small kitten, had such huge ears that all you could see was the ears and the blue eyes. I sometimes wondered if I had accidentally adopted a bat instead ... I think that maybe Riley and Lu have oriental ancestry :Luv:

That pic is mad looking! If that hat fits......
Big ears....Why all the better to hear you with my dear! :Luv2:
-
Have you met my Elias, now HE has big ears, then again, I think he's half oriental.

I have just literally splutter my tea all over my computer looking at Riley's latest photo
I always thought that Max had pretty big radar ears :Luv2:
-
Riley looks like a very wealthy Arabian prince to me, change his name to Shar
-
The cat in the hat strikes back !!! :evillaugh:
All those cats are gorgeous - & after all, you wouldnt reject a cat if he or she had NO ears, would you ? :Luv2:
Or even - FOUR ears !!! :wow:
-
Yes, I think that photo of Riley covering his ears has set us all off laughing  :Luv2:
Licia it's very nice to see a new pic of Ollie - stunning as ever. :Luv2:

Riley has biggish ears and Lucas has average size ears imo ;D ;D They're still young, so Riley might grow into his a bit more as he matures!
Mosi has big ears and Jaffa has normal ones ;D
-
Glad Riley's ear hiding antics have made people laugh :)

I hope they've stopped growing - they're 2 1/2 now! Riley's a massive cat, I can't hold him like a normal cat (with your hand under their back feet) and that's with his front feet and chest over my shoulder. Hmmn, maybe that means I have short arms though :evillaugh:
-
I think that they have large ears but big is beautiful Lu and Riley :Luv:
My Dave also has huge ears! I thought he's grow into them as they were enormous when he was a baby but they grew with him :evillaugh: The only thing proportionate to his ears is his belly :evillaugh:
