I am shocked and deeply saddened what some people
are cable of doing to a pet they no longer want.
I have just had a call off a lady who informed us
she saw someone chucking a kitten between them
around a car before chucking it in a box and throwing it out the window
of a moving car.
This is sickening. We have taken him in although we
are well over our limit. He is tabby and around
9 weeks old and seems unhurt but is petrified. >:( :(
Luckily we have 5 kittens in of the same age so he is trying to play with them.
But runs when he sees people. It is heart breaking to watch him. :(

Poor little lad
-
:(
-
Oh My God! How can anyone be so cruel >:( I hope the poor little mite recovers soon and that he gets to know that not all humans are evil. sending hugs  to him. Bless his little heart.
Let us know how he gets on wont you
-
So glad that he is now safe with you please give him a  from me

I can't get near him to give him a hug and its braking my heart. He just hiss's and runs away bless him.
Pic included i managed to get when he was trying to play. When i did manage to pick him up to check him out. I put my hand under his bottom and he just trembled. :(
A friend who is a big animal lover saw the whole thing. She first thought they were chucking a teddy around the car. She kept him over night then contacted me first thing this morning.

He is absolutely adorable - I am sure he will calm down soon
Does he have a name yet? or is there to be a kitten naming competition??

I think i feel a kitten naming comp coming on ;) I thought Lucky, but feel its too common for such a little cutie.

He is beautiful, and I hope he soon learns that not all humans are evil, and can place his trust
-
He is adorable and am sure that you will earn his trust very quickly cos he is so young.
What a horrible life he must have had to be so scared
My big boy Misa had a horrible life like that too until he was 4 and taken to be PTS and he is still a big frightened kitten at times and will have nothing to do with other people, makes me so sad and angry,
-
I just prey to god they had no more pets. :-: he is falling asleep on the floor with a toy bless him.
-
Poor poor baby, how people can be so wicked is beyond me :( Still, he's safe with you now - lets hope he can forget what those evil :censored: have put him through and learn to trust people again
-
That is so sad :'( poor little mite, I'm sure he'll gain trust in humans again with your loving care. I hope he makes friends with the other kitties very soon he's adorable :Luv2:
-
He just needs something to cuddle to comfort him cos its a huge change for him and he must feel so alone :(
-
Anyone capable of doing something like that really needs euthanising - they are no use to man or beast >:(
Poor baby - I just hope he can forget what happened and find a good home :Luv2:
-
The other 5 kits are very lively and confident and are doing there best to welcome him and help him feel at home. Why can't some humans learn from animal behaviour. :shify:

What a gorgeous little boy -hope he soon forgets and comes round with the help of those other little ones

He's a sweetie, Shelly. What's his name? (New name, new start.)
-
We took in a ginger and white male he too had been thrown from a car. An RSPCA inspector brought him round to us one Sunday. He is in his new home and very happy.
Luckily the only physical injury he seemed to have was a small graze on his nose. Because I am rubbish thinking of names here, I called him Chuck.
Unfortunately the lady was not English who saw him thrown out, and she didn't manage to get the registration number.
-
What a little star!
I've just invoked the law of three on those SOB's- take it from me the amount of general annoyance i've got to spare at the moment they'll be lucky not to skid along the floor when Karma hits them..... :evillaugh: :naughty:
-
Aw bless him.....hopefully he is young enough to learn to trust! :Luv2:
As for the :censored: who done this......Karma! >:(

He doesn't have a name yet hunni, i thought Lucky but feel its too common so any suggestions are welcome. ;D
he was playing with the other kits last night and when i came down this morning he was curled up with the little tabby female who's called Gem or Kit-Kat but she is off to her new home today.
-
How about Fable? Let's face it, if he could talk he'd have some
tails tales to tell. ;)
-
Hopefully he will see the other kittens interacting with you, and learn that its OK :Luv2:
I think he looks like a Dexter ;D
-
I vote Riley...
I'm a teensy bit biased having a Riley myself but he will hopefully go on to live the life of riley despite the appalling start he had :)
-
I think Riley would be very apt! :Luv2:
-
Its a shame the one he was curled up with can''t take him as well -it would be great for him to go with a friend .
-
,There are some cruel and pathetic :censored: in this world how can anyone treat such a helpless baby this way is beyound comprehension :censored:
He is so cute :Luv: hopefully he will learn to trust again. :(
How about Wallace after william wallace (braveheart ) ;)
-
Poor chap, i hope he settles in soon. Id call him Dooby Doodlebug ;D
-
We had baby Archie kitten who had been used as a football he came to us as his prognosis wasn't great he had brain damage but it was cancer that took our darling boy at 1 year old
There is hope Archie loved humans, cats and dogs and eveil nasty ferals to
This shows Archie with his beloved Blue and Ace my 2 worst unhandlable ferals - they always looked out for him :Luv2:

aww Liz that's awful, poor baby, how can people be so cruel :'(
-
I like the name Murphy! He is soooo gorgeous. I had to go and cuddle my tabby boy in sympathy. How people can live with themselves!!!! >:(
-
That is awful and something we see far too often not just with cats but rabbits and other animals too :(
I was handed a rabbit by someone who had recently adopted from us, she took her from someone she knew who wasn't feeding her and letting the dog basically terrorise her, she was petrified, skin and bones and could barely move she was so frail, she fought so hard trying to eat and get better and seemed to be doing well but was found dead in her hutch last week before she found her forever home, things like this break my heart :(
-
Ahhhh the poor poor little soul .... I'm sure after he has interacted with the other kittens he will soon learn that not all humans are evil.
-
How's this little man doing today?

How's this little man doing today?
He's doing good now. He is happy to play with the other cats/kittens. Hubby has stroked him a little, he was just about to leg it then he must have thought "hey this isn't so bad" i got a very quick cuddle. I think its going to take a while for him to trust fully and i'm not sure his will have 100% trust. But he may prove me wrong. when he goes up for adoption i dont think i would want him to go to a busy noisy house he would be best suited to somewhere quieter.
I have settled on the name Riley as suggested by a few of you. Sorry no new pics because i'm using my lappy as hubby is decerating the dining room where my desktop normally is.
-
Awwww, even a little cuddle is more than you'd had before, so hopefully Riley will come round more each and every day and realise that humans aren't so bad :Luv2: :Luv:
-
Glad he's doing OK. Riley is a lovely boy and I hope over time he realises how much he has to gain from realising not all humans are bad.
-
Glad to hear that Riley is doing well, when you get time photos will be nice :Luv:
-
Riley is honoured that this brave little soul is called Riley too :Luv:
Sounds like he's getting there slowly, he definitely needs a very special forever home :)
-
Ahhh I'm so pleased this little sweetheart is beginning to trust :Luv2:
-
Yay! Love the name and so happy he is finding out what life really should be like for an ickle kitten! :Luv2:
-
iv'e uploaded a few pics to my lappy of this little chap. And i have had a lady interested in him. She recently donated food and woming tablets to us. So he may just have the happy ending he derserves. ;D ;D
-
:crossed:
-
he is very cute!
-
Really hope the home works out for him, she sounds like a nice lady :)
-
Hope the home works out - Riley is an utter babe! Is that my little guy in the picture with him? :shy:

I hope its the purrrfect home for him too. The kitten he is playing with is your little tigers brother who had less ginger on his face. ;D
The attached pic is your little guy. :briggin:
-
Hehe, he looks nosey. :Luv: :Luv:
-
A home has fell through for this little guy. They have taken in a kitten from a shelter that badly needed a home. :(
-
That's a shame for him :( Do you think it would be worth a newspaper appeal - 'special home needed for kitten thrown out of moving car' type thing. It could find him a perfect home and also give your rescue some exposure too ;D
-
Good idea Helen ... appeals like that are very good for rehoming lots of kitties usually ;)
-
I don't know how someone could mis-treat a tiny, defenceless animal. Even the thought of it makes my stomach turn. I hope karma catches up with these evil peope. I'm glad little Riley is in safe hands now. Hopefully he will find a new, permanent home very soon.
-
How's this little guy doing, Shelly?
-
Aww what a poor little guy, he just reminds me of Baxter- he was found in a shed when he was 3 months old and no-one knew if he was feral or just treated so badly that he mistrusted all humans. It took weeks before he would stay in the room with us and months before we could give him proper cuddles but he's a very happy kitty now- he stills prefers other cats to humans but he's knows I'm his mummy and snuggles into my feet at night when he thinks I'm not looking.
I hope he gets the home he deserves with a lovely patient owner.

Did this cutie get a forever home in the end?
