Our little scaredy cat is a bit sneezy and her eyes are a slightly runny. The thing is, she's been diagnosed with allergies so it could be that. Should I give her antibiotics as a precaution or just keep a watch out?
Other than these two things, she isn't acting any differently.

I would contact the vets before giving any antibiotics and keep a good eye on her just incase. Maybe just the allergies playing up :)
-
Is there any colour to the runny eye and sneezy deposit? If its all clear then I would not give them as there is no infection! ;)
-
I wouldn't give antibiotics ever, except under veterinary advice, JS, and even if she has a little virus they'll be no use anyway...

No colouring, BM. Presumably Madams allergies are giving her grief then. Poor girl, and she hates her eye drops.....

Well, two nights ago Sage was sick three times, she's also been sneezing a little so organised a vet visit for this morning. Typically, her eyes looked fine today and she wasn't sick yesterday or sneezing but I took her to be on the safe side. The vet said she's fine. :)

Its always the way JS....So glad to hear she is fine though! :Luv2:

Good news, always best to be on the safe side

Thats the thing with abs, best not really to self prescribe as there are so many different types....You could end up your cat still having the original problem plus a nasty tummy upset! ;)
