Cimicat and pro-kolin
anyone want to foster some kittens >:(
-
I think :print: are called for :evillaugh:
-
I already have the "horribly hairy" Boris here for Angie, dont know if we could cope with the mess    Gary is doing his best to keep him clean with frequent washing, but it`s getting to be a two-cat job!
How cute is this bundle of fluff???? He was found in a garden in the week, and is the fluffiest little man. He cant be more than about 9 weeks old, and does a fab impression of a parrot perching on your shoulder.
Or, on the other hand, he could be getting bored with only having Lily, Willow, Gary, Tia and 2 dogs to play with
-
how cute!! I also have a parrot cat, maybe you could mail this one??
-
What a cutie he is lovely, my Millie looked exactly like him when she was baby :Luv2:
-
awwwwwwwwwwww :Luv2:

Snap. I acquired a 9-11 week old kitten last week, also found in a lady's garden. Sofie is a bundle of pure energy and is currently sharing my bedroom with me and two of my oldies, Truman and MacGreggor who, I have to say, are amazingly patient with her and let her snuggle into them although they are totally non responsive to her attempts to play. Can anyone tell me when kittens start sleeping through the night :) My original intention was to wait until she had had her second set of innoculations (she had her first last week) and then try to rehome her as I am already over my limit but she is so cute I don't think I can let her go. On the other hand, maybe she needs to be rehomed together with a playmate? What do you think?

Boris is gorgeous little hunk and reckon Misa must have looked a bit like that ;D ;D
-
Boris is a bewt :Luv:
Can anyone tell me when kittens start sleeping through the night :)
 err that was meant as a joke wasn't it? ;) I'm a great believer in kittens having a playpal if at all possible.
-
It was a joke, Rosella. I'm not used to kittens, most of mine are 10+ so having this little minx charging round the bedroom like a lunatic is not something I'm used to, although I am glad that she is healthy enough to be so energetic.
-
I wish someone would tell my adult cats here that they are no longer kittens....I usually have approx 7/8 of them doing "Whacky Races" round the bedroom on a night....mind you they are luckily not bothering with grabbing feet under the duvet anymore....Ouch Moira that's something else to look forward too! :evillaugh:
-
My birman bros are 16 and chasing round the bedroom often happens and one waits for the other to pass and wooooooohoooooooooooo. its at its worse when the bed is part of the shortcut to the door and back.....quite scarey when its dark and they start

How is Truman Moira? :shify: :Luv2:
-
Hi Baz, thanks for asking. Truman is still going strong, the old dear. He had a general vet check a couple of weeks ago and the vet said he was fine (given his age and kidney problem). He sleeps a lot but eats very well. He has gone from 2.8kg 7 months ago to 3.4kg now. He has the sweetest nature and has taken the new kitten, Sofie, under his paw. I was a bit concerned that Sophie might be too boisterous for him but she adores him and snuggles up to him for naps. He is far too tolerant though, and when she gets rambunctious it is my old girl, Stinky, who does the telling off. Truman still has his own snuggle time which is just for him when he sits on my chest as I read before going to sleep. Usually Stinkey is on the pillow behind my head reading over my shoulder while Sophie is doing cartwheels round the bedroom.

Aw! So happy the boy is thriving Moira, what an absolut gentleman he is enjoying the new kitten and glad that Stinky comes to his aid! :Luv2:
He must be a joy to watch....So glad about the weight gain too! :Luv2:

Its sounds wonderful and sometimes the introduction of a kitten brings the older ones back to life a bit - we have 2 16 weeks old hooligans one a purrpot the other food driven and they ahve all the "old" toys ours weren't playing with now I have 9 and 10 year olds having a blast the 7 year olds are now running riot and my new ferals are interacting to it is so nice!
Whats she called! ;D
-
:Luv: Trueman sounds lovely natured kitty, glad to hear he is doing well.
-
I think Truman has already passed his original prognosis, has he not, Moira, and still has lots of life and loving left in him yet :Luv2:
-
So pleased that Truman is doing well
-
Well, thanks to Boris I`m in the "interesting stain on clothes" club too
He was wormed on Tuesday, and now has an upset tummy. He was sick last night, so I decided to take him to work with me today to keep an eye on him (only a few mins from the vet). I am now also wearing pro-kolin, which has settled his tummy a bit and makes an interesting pattern on jeans! Boris had a great time and lots of gentle cuddles and games from the staff and kids.
My boss adopted two CCG`s kittens last week, and it very good about me bringing various animals in. Boris was a bit of a surprise though, as I usually have sick chickens with me  Boris is now very tired but happy after all the attention.

A quick update on Boris:
Boris is feeling so much better, and is full of beans again. He saw the vet who gave him some antibiotics, but I`m sure all the fuss at work for the past 3 days is what has done the trick ;)
Boris has stimulated so much interest in fostering/adopting, he is such a sweetie!
-
Aw! Sounds as if he has been having lots of fusses! :Luv2:
-
Glad to hear he is much better :Luv:
-
Just to say Boris has a new home to go to tomorrow. ;D He is going to live with one of my collegues from work, and will have another rescued cat Simon as a big brother and playmate. :Luv2:
Boris came to work again today, he was so chilled he fell asleep on the table as the older kids worked on the laptops! Not that we did much work today, too much playing with Boris for that.
-
;D that's great news! hope he's very happy in his new home with his new friend :Luv2:
-
So pleased for Boris and his friend.
Trouble is 14 and still as playful as a kitten, rips featherey rods to pieces on a regular basis! ;D Beggar hoovering up all the bits though!
-
Great news, but you will miss him.
