I actually feel like I have lost part of Me, You were my girl....my baby....my everything
and I know You loved Me as much as I loved You -
As Daddy used to say "That cat would live inside of You if she could"
Everyone could see the bond between us but they didn't fully understand how deep it was


I will miss You forever....no-one will ever take your place....I don't think I will ever be the same person again, something inside of Me died with You  xx

Just having one of my moments - but then I have cried everyday since you went away.

I have these mad thoughts where I sorta panic, cant really explane it tbh

Can't believe that from finding that small lump, 6mths later you are dead !

Nothing is the same anymore -
Rocky is lost without you, he trys to cuddle up next to the other cats but they get up and move away. At night he lays on my chest in bed and meows in my face .....he doesnt understand where you have gone. He has a sad look about him now.

Oh Michelle, I'm so sorry. My thoughts are with you. It's horribly hard and with some cats there's an extra special bond there that makes it even more heartbreaking. I lost my boy Rocky back in April and I still have a lot of weepy moments and still feel so angry at times that he was taken from me.
Just take some comfort in the fact that you gave Issey a wonderful life and so much love.

A whole month without you now....

I had a dream last night, you were frozen and as you started to defrost you began to purr. Dunno who was with Me but i asked them what was happening and they said as you defrozed you were coming alive again but you would go back to how you were just before i pts. (in pain)
So i had to decide whether to allow you to defrost or put you back  :(
I was cuddling you over my shoulder, just like i was while you were pts. It seemed so real.....and even now I can still almost feel your warm soft body on my shoulder  :'(

Michelle, I've not read these posts until now. We lost Jack over a month ago and emotion still overrides logic and I find myself checking in his shelter outside for him when it's cold. I know he's not there but I look anyway; just in case something miraculous has happened and he's come back to me. (I know how mad that sounds, don't worry.)

You aren't alone feeling like this. Most of the time I seem to be numb to the loss, but every now and then it hits me full force and I end up a crying wreck.

And you didn't do anything wrong. You gave Issey every chance and also knew when it was time to let her go so she left this world with the dignity she deserved. :care:

I do those mad things too, I think its only natural. (although they arnt mad to us)
I'll confess to something else I am doing - Rocky has taken to laying next to Me in bed, I close my eyes and pretend its Issey !!

All I can hope is that the pain gets less, which i am it will, but i think the missing them will never ever go away....
