Well we have been back since yesterday evening and despite Bonnielass' fears (and mine a little) that he may not settle and miss all his friends, so far Dave is perfectly happy and has turned back into the complete soft cuddlebum I know and love :Luv:
He hid for a few hours when we first arrived yesterday but when I went to bed I was awoken by the old ritual of him climbing all over my head, head butting my face and licking my hands. Lovely but made me realise how much sleep I got without him! :evillaugh:
Today he has mostly been sleeping under the bed (his new favourite place), getting under my feet trying to help with everything or climbing all over me looking for attention. Much the same Dave as I have always known which is a huge relief as he studiously ignored me for the most part at Sandra's! He isn't eating the way he used to but he has had a few nibbles and I assume as he settles in more his appetite will return to full force.
It is so lovely to have my boy back and it would appear he is very happy to have his Meowmy back :Luv2: The last pic even has his bed I won in last years auction which I had left with a friend to send and tonight he has finally got onto it ;D

Most definitely unfounded I think :Luv:
Do you feel you made the right choice coming back Shona?

He is so scarily like my Robbie in character, positioning and appearance that I had to double check he was still here! So glad he has settled right back into the old routine!

Not sure how I feel yet, still feels a bit surreal. Met my landlord tonight and he is lovely, clueless, but lovely (don't worry, I'm filling him in :evillaugh:)
Oh and my Mum is a fly one, she made secret arrangements for my oldest, bestest friend in the whole world to meet me to give me my flat keys, not my Mum coming in on her lunch break as I was lead to believe ;D Was wonderful to see her, haven't seen her in about two years and her twin girls who are absolutely gorgeous and complete chatterboxes. Was the best come home present I could have wished for :Luv:
Time will tell if I settle and feel I made the right choice. Finding a job will make it easier, did not enjoy filling in all the benefit stuff online today! How do people feel good about being on benefits all their lives!?
Yes Bonnielass, I noticed that bag was missing at the England/Scotland border, couldn't remember what was in it! Passport, yes I'll need that and of course the mug Kristy got me to welcome me home. I am sure Dave misses you too and as I said, had I had a job I would have taken Cassie in a heartbeat, she's a gorgeous wee thing and would likely be very happy here with Dave and Chilli, it took all my willpower to not just give in and take her too!

Aw bless him, its amazing how quickly he has settled down......He's gorgeous and so relaxed looking, he must of missed his mummy big style! :Luv2:

Dancer nice to see he's settled back in
On the job front try Hudson recruitment - they are just along a Ocean Quays no far from you and they got me my last 2 really good jobs before we moved - will hunt out a contact for you
Lets hope its Miss Chilli and Bonnielasses then you can take her and Cassie in the same trip!!!!! ;)
