Not sure where to post this maybe a mod will move if not the right section.
But after much debate we have purchased some well fab and very impressive scales to keep an eye on weight of kittens esp useful for poorly kittens. This yr we have had several litters of kittens that have not been full of beans on arrival. One litter of three we lost all but by one, and as weight of these little things is a good idea of their progress and health.
So a big thanks to all, as this wouldnt of been something we would of brought anyhow as its quite a luxury item for us.
Thanks again from all at Canterbury CP

We need piccies of your new purchase ;D

That sounds really worthwhile ;D

always good to hear that purrs has helped!
-
Will post pictures when next around our fosterer who has them.. we have just taken on a young kitten found in a box in whitstable beach, full of worms so maybe that would be a good shot!

That's fantastic Sharon.
So nice to have a bit extra to buy something you need but always put to the bottom of the list cos you have to get other things first.

This is completely off thread. But i am sad to report that Nelly our hospice puss cat passed away in her sleep this morning..
Bless her. if only we had got to her earlier.. Sh had taken to eating prime ham bits the last few days, so at least she had a bit of luxury in her life. But for a puss cat that was only 14 or so yrs of age, it makes me sad that while my two live the life of riley and are loved to bits, that Nelly lost out on that for the majority of her life.. I am sure she was loved, but not enough whenshe was owned her to the vets when she needed it, it could of helped keep her alive a bit longer
RIP Nelly

So sorry Sharon, RIP Nelly
You cannot change her life before she came to you, but she lived out her days knowing love and warmth, and for that I'm sure she will always be grateful

RIP Nelly :(
I dropped some food off at Caroline's yesterday but she wasn't in - I was hoping to see Nelly :(
It is so sad as the owner let her go too far as his pushy MIL who is an ex-VN told him is was normal for cats to get lumps etc as they get older >:(
-
Aw bless her little heart - you did all you could Sharon, which was brilliant.
