Title: Old dogs learning new tricks
Post by: Millys Mum on September 16, 2009, 18:46:05 PM
Gooey is testing out a new cuisine, hes 12 and from his initial reaction i dont think he had eaten raw before but now he is loving it. Tonight he had a bowl of free range turkey and finished in 3rd place  :wow:
He wouldnt pose for a pic tho  :innocent:

Amazing how they go from refusing to chew their food to chomping with gusto  ;D

Im impressed with waitrose meat section, lots of free range versions of what tesco sell. I got wild rabbit and organic chicken livers too, hope they like it as the price was not so impressive

Sensible chap!  :Luv:

Was the free range turky from Waitrose? I can't often get free range - sometimes our bigger Sainsbury's has free range turkey mince.

Yes it was, they have a nice range of free range turkey  ;D

I bagged up the rabbit and chicken livers today, dexter loved both and couldnt believe his luck, tabitha and gooey didnt like either and the others only tested the liver.
I cooked some of both and put the rest in freezer so hopefully they will eat it cooked or dexter will think all his birthdays have come at once.

Have organic chicken wings too which i know they like *phew*
