I took a call today from a man. Him & his wife rescued a cat from their neighbour about 7 weeks ago as he had a rotten life and was left outside in all weathers and his coat was in a real mess. The neighbours moved away and left him behind so they took him in. They have been backwards and forwards to the vets getting him neutered, his coat seen to, flead & wormed and he only had his second vacs 2 weeks ago. The problem is they are in rented accomm and he yowls a lot day and night (for food they think) - they don't mind but the old lady next door has been complaining to the landlord so they have to rehome him. I feel so sorry for them as they sound like decent people who have done their best. The old woman should try living next door to dogs barking and then she WOULD have something to moan about!

How awful, for this poor love to find his perfect slave's and it to end up in this situation..... :(
Should'nt that old lady of gone deaf by now! >:(

in hindsight perhaps if they had called on this woman and explained the situation she might have been more tolerant
such a shame :'(

Poor little thing he must feel so confused :(

Sharon put them onto Persian rescue. If you want I could ask if they took the cat?

Sorry but I was out today so will give them a call tomorrow. I will be able to find the phone number from my email to Sharon. You are in Kent anyway I think?

I just phoned the man and he said he contacted Persian Rescue who were full but said they would phone him back. He hasn't heard from them since. In the meantime, he phoned the RSPCA who said they could take him straight away as he was up to date with jabs etc - so that is what happened. I know we hear stories about them but I'm sure a young, healthy pedigree would be rehomed by them no problem.
Thanks for offering though
