A cat i first fed about 8-9 years ago now -which i thought was lost ( when checking his collar , managed to find a disc and he lived at the top of the road !!) has always periodically turned up for food and as mine leave so much , he always gets fed.
Well, he has had about 3 homes now for various reasons , but he has now moved into Winstons oldish cat house at the front of my house where its well sheltered and cosy inside ( with vet bedding, reflective heat pad and fleece !!!) and has been there about a week now -coming out for food and a lay in the sun and then sleeping in it at night .
He is a poor old tabby boy ( well fed , by probably one or two others on here ) , but a gammy eye ( nothing to be done as many years ago someone shot him in it :censored: :censored: :censored: ) , he has a very gammy, bloody nose -told it was from fighting -but can''t see that really ( looked out the front window and Winston was in one half of the garden in the sun and Baggins was in the other half sunning himself .
His coat is very matty too (short hair- stuck together ) i have tried to groom him, look at his nose , but he isn''t keen .
If he is still here by Friday , i may have to go and see if his last owners are still living here -or moved off and left him.
He has roamed around here since i have been here and thats 11 years now.

ah - he sounds a real local character puss
an outside cat house is a real boon - now Tosker has spurned his for the great indoors I have two in my garden for the use of any passing cat who fancies a night in out of the rain
