I took a tin of 100% chicken breast in white sauce and a potato to put in the microwave at work today but I only had half a tin cos I felt guilty not giving any to Bonnie.
Yes I took it home and gave it to her as soon as I got in. She loves the chicken and really laps up the sauce. :Luv2:
I'll be treating her on Friday too cos I will need lots of cuddles cos it's 2 years since Smudge went missing and as you all know I found him dead 7 months later. Why can we never get the horrid dates out of our heads? :'(
Having the day off work on Friday so I'll be treating her all day and she will certainly be loving me back. :Luv2:

I don't usually share lunch but I always share my tea with them ;)
I'm sorry that Friday is going to be a sad day for you but I'm sure Bonnie will help you get through it and Smudge will be keeping an eye on you both from the bridge
-
I can't say I've ever saved half my lunch when I've been out of the house, but certainly when I'm at home Max used to get his fair share of my grub, and Poot is learning the ropes, but is a very good boy and doesn't pesk for food, but waits until you give it to him :Luv2:
Will be thinking of you on Friday hunnie, I know it will be a difficult day for you, I'm sure Bonnie will give you loads of extra cuddles, as will your friends on here
But as its not Friday, you're chuffin' mad for bringing ya lunch home Mrs

Thnaks for that Clare - it stopped the tears
I know I'm barmy and that's what everyone at work said too.
Thanks Sam

If I have something Memphis likes then yup I bring him home a doggie bag. I once shared a prawn and pea risotto with him. He sat on the table hovering over my plate. I would take a prawn break it up into tiny pieces then feed him as I ate. I ended up with about 3 prawns for myself as he ate the rest. He was such a good little boy at waiting :Luv2:
My doggie nearly always gets a doggie bag if I eat out .. Usually a few chips and a bit of burger or sausage. My mum always saves some steak for her too. I don't eat steak but Molly loves it ... she has her nanny very well trained :evillaugh:
 for Friday
-
I am sure that gorgeous Bonnie will help you through Friday, with Smudge directing from the Bridge
I used to share a lot of food with Kocka but the current cats are not interested :(
-
I've just had a lovely Indian takeaway and it's all I can do to force 2 of my cats from jumping on my lap and nicking my popadoms!
-
I knew I wasn't the only daft one

Always the girls !- they wait till its on my tray and then follow me into the room and sit either side of me till they get something ! Which of course they always do .
Never FiFi though , very rarely Winston or Smartie .
-
Alice looks at me with Doe eyes regardless of what I have. She always gets a good amount of any meat. Also Willow had her share of honey roast pork before I ate tonight (with her benazecare hidden in :shify: ) Alice always waits though - I have to convince her it's OK :Luv2:
-
Not lunch no but all 6 eat most of my chicken every evening. It's their expected evening snack now. I do insist that they wait till I've finished eating coz I have to break it up in small pieces coz Freddie has very few teeth.
It's never occurred to me to bring my lunch home :-: but always bring home puddy bag on rare occasions that we eat out.
-
I eat that much rubbish I would not dare feed the puds it... They have much better taste than me anyway! :innocent:
-
not often lunch unless there's something they like leftover from sandwich filling. Most days they get what we have for tea. Byron always hovers round when it's chicken because that's her favourite food.
 for tomorrow Mary xx
-
I don't tend to save my lunch when I'm not at home, but I've been known to buy things in starbucks just to get a paper bag as Milo adores starbucks bags.
However whatever we eat at home the boys get some if they want it.
-
only sunday lunch! Tilly and Amber sit at the end of the table and slowly creep further and further forward!!
-
If its suitable they have their share - and sometimes even if its not so suitable .... :shy:
Mr T showed a great interest in a piece of cherry madeira cake. I was rather amused when he ate a small piece, complete with the cherry :evillaugh:
I was less amused when it came to litter tray time ..... PHEW!!!!
Chloe, who looks so innocent, will help herself!!
We were foolish trusting enough to leve a ham salad on the kitchen table.
When we sat down to eat it - NO HAM!!
A certain someone had left a clue as to who had "dunnit" in that she was licking her lips and there was a little piece of ginger/tabby fluff on top of my tomato
She will do the same if someone comes to the door while we are eating, and if we "abandon" the food temporarily.
Ever found pawprints in your mashed potato ?
Curiously, Mr T has never done this - Or never been caught :shify:
He does like to have the foam of the top of a glass of Guinness, though!!!
-
I don't share lunch with them when I'm out of the house, but I do share all my meals I eat at home with them. If I'm having meat, I always leave a bit on the plate for them (even though they will have had some of it raw before cooking). Jaffa always licks out my cereal bowl and I wouldn't dream of beating up eggs for scrambled egg or something like that, and not letting them lick out the bowl.
-
No, but they share their lunch with my carpet! ;D
Cheers

Oh yes and normally when Im eating.
If Im having some meat or fish I will usually save them some and put it in their dishes but no if Im out I dont bring any home for them. That said Im usually only out for lunch when my parents take me which means theres a border collie in the car who feels she should have the left overs.
When my flat was being done up my parents used to come over and bring sandwiches as I had no kitchen. Dad found out that Mogs really likes prawns and I dont think Ive ever had so many prawnless prawn sandwiches in my life :evillaugh:

ALI DOESN'T SHARE FOOD!
(Thankfully for the cats OH does. :P)
-
If someone is lurking then yes :)
Ted times the meat on a Sunday, sits by the cooker untill its ready :evillaugh:
-
I suppose Id better own up ..... :evillaugh:
I have a lidded mug, which I use if I take milk to drink before I go to sleep.
The idea was to stop Mr T or Chloe from drinking the milk :sneaky:
So much for that !!
Mr T has caught on that there is milk in the mug, and that he can push the lid off.
He meows madly whenever I use the mug (Heaven help me if I use it for fruit tea, which he hates!! :evillaugh:)
Now, I have to take the mug (with milk in it) each night into the bedroom, and put it on the bed.
Mr T then carefully removes the lid with his paws and drinks down as far as he can ....
And .... :shy: I drink the rest!!
-
Oh my
-
:evillaugh: soooo, Wibble, your Mr T shares his milk with you then :naughty:
-
Mr T is a clever sneeky puss  :Luv2:
Mary

Not share - they help themselves to my lunch though :tired:
-
Yep, we've seen the guilty pics
Mary

I would love to share my food with the 4 but they dont want to :(
Kocka used to sit by my side and get closer and closer and got really worried as the plate emptied, and she would move in to help herself , if I didnt offer her some ;D
-
Maybe it's something to do with your cooking Gill

Gillian what are you talking about???......they make your lunch :evillaugh:

Gill, you'll just have to buy them some steak
Smudge would come and pinch chicken off my plate but nothing else. Bonnie only begs for yoghurt. :Luv2:
Mary
-
Would be a total waste of money and I am not too keen on it either :-:
-
Gillian what are you talking about???......they make your lunch :evillaugh:

-

I have to confess to my lot being trained not too.... If were having lunch we always put some of the meat aside for them in the kitchen.... :sneaky:
