Title: Growing old gracefully
Post by: Wibblechick on August 30, 2009, 15:11:28 PM
Chloe must be nearly 18, but her inner kitten still comes out to play  ;)

This morning,  we found that she had been up playing in the night.  Feathers (which she likes to play with) all over the floor and the rug kicked every which way  :evillaugh:

We know it wasn't Mr T as that big, fat lump had spent all night making my arm go numb!!  :evillaugh: :Luv2:

Later, when we took her out into the garden, she decided to "play on the slide" - no she doesn't slide down it - she just enjoys the warmth of the sun on the plastic, Bless her  :Luv:

Chloe looks fantastic for any age but especially for nearly 18  ;D

Now come on, Mr T is not a big fat lump.....he would be so offended  :(

Ok - he is not a big fat lump .....  he is a HUGE fat lump  :evillaugh:

He is my Snuggle-Babe and I love him to bits, but when you havent moved all night so as not to disturb him ; your bladder is bursting, and he is pinning your arm to the bed -   he is a VERY heavy boy!!

I love Chloe's colouring.... Is she a Torbie?  :shify: :Luv2:

I would guess she is!!

Her sister (Mr T's Mum) was Tortie (she was run over years ago, on our horrible road  :'()

This is the only picture I have of her - her name was Molly  :Luv2:

She is a bit crazy and has same sense of humour as her meowmy, dont think it would be very appropriate for our other babes to have to decipher!  :evillaugh:

Lovely pics of everyone.

When did Chloe manage to find some sun??

I suggested last week that the art students in our building could paint some Summer scenes on our office walls - my suggestion didn't go down too well.  So I said we will have to do with the cat I drew in the muck onthe windows that I did 2 years ago - I'm not joking either it was just over 2 years ago - they never get cleaned.

We had sun this morning, until someone "Upstairs" remembered it was actually a  Bank Holiday tomorrow and changed the weather setting to "Yuck"  :evillaugh:

She looks well for her age - I would actually call her a patched tabby - to me, patched tabbies are where the markings are more tabby but with the ginger colouring and torbies, or tortie tabbies, are where the markings are more like torties but with some of the patches being tabby rather than red.
