Title: Issey's Daughter Missy has been killed
Post by: Michelle (furbabystar) on August 22, 2009, 14:50:16 PM: What have I done thats so bad to deserve all this :'(

Missy, Isseys Daughter has been run over and killed :'( :'( :'(

Oh God I just sat in the road with her while she crossed over.....She wasn't dead when ni got to her

I cant tell Hubby or Son this but i need to tell someone

She was writhering in pain and trying to breath, she must have been in so much pain, she was moving her back legs....I could see her moving and hear her crying as i ran down the road to her...i cant believe this has happened, she didnt deserve to die like that she didnt deserve to die at all
but she knew my voice and calmed down as soon as she heard me she calmed down as i started stroking her i sat in the road stroking her
It was horrible oh my poor Missy

You are right she didn't deserve this neither did you, I`m afraid the shock will remain with you for a long time to come; take comfort that you reached her in time for her to recognise your calming voice and presence which she needed most.

Missy was his girl and he is devastated enough as it is, if doesnt need to know the details, I want to save him from that.

I am so shocked, I really cant believe I have just watched Missy die.......she tried to get up when she first heard Me (as i got to her) but as i sat down and stroked her she calmed down, she knew i was with her and i kept saying go on Missy off You go I love you.
It seems to take ages until my baby took her last breath.

I have never had to go through this before....Its going round and round in my head, the pain she must have been in....what was she thinking, did she know she was dieing.

When I take Jaffa to the vets, they always tell me to talk to him because they can tell that he is calmer when he can hear my voice. I think she would have felt calmer with you being there than she would otherwise. When people are very ill or in a coma, they can often still hear. She wouldn't necessarily have been conscious of any pain but hearing your voice would have been a comfort.

Angie, Jill and I were at another sanctuary when the owner ran in with a cat that had been deliberately run over. He died before we could get him to a vet to help him to the Bridge. I will never forget that time, and I am sure neither will Angie and Jill.

Please take it easy, think of all the special moments that you had together and cherish them, they are more precious and outweigh any of the horrid memories you have now. :hug:
