Being given away on my local Freecycle. I love plants, but would never get one I know was dangerous to the mogsters. ;)

We have a fiscus and all the clan cats are still with us - although when they knock it off the mantlepeice I'm surprised its still alive - still going strong after 9 years and 2 house moves and several paw shoves! ;)

I've had my unbrella tree for the past 15 years and my lot are all still fine ... mind you they aren't plant nibblers thankfully.

Unsurprisingly, Asteroid is.....she's into everything, nosey little so and so!

I've got several internet lists saved on "plants toxic to cats/non toxic to cats". Umbrella plants appear both on the non toxic and the toxic lists. This happens quite frequently. I wish someone would put together a proper, definitive list and say how toxic ie avoid altogether (lilies type toxic) or just not-a-good-idea if the cat eats some weird part of the plant. Right now it's utter confusion so I avoid anything on any of the toxic lists, although I suspect some of them are fine.

OK, another one - cheese plants....are they safe?

I had cheese plants for years, never had a problem with them with the cats. :)
