Title: Fergus at vet's (poisoned) he died

Fergus came in around 5.30pm looking very poorly.
We thought of poisoning right away as his hind legs were very weak
He's at the vet clinic now on a drip but his chances are small
It's nearly a year since I lost his brother so I feel very bad now

Oh hun I'm so so sorry to hear about Fergus ... I know there is nothing we can say at the moment that will help to take away the hurt and heartache you must be feeling.  Please accept my sincere condolences and it goes without saying that when you feel up to talking we are all here for you.

I am so sorry for your loss -this is terrible news and you must be totally devastated and unbelievably angry .

Sorry to seem cold about this but does the vet know what it was? - maybe you should keep your cats inside if there is a chance that you have a sicko neighbour who did it intentionally.

I am so very sorry to read this very bad news at the start of the day.

I don't approve of using poison, the farm that I visited used proper baiting stations where only rodents could get in and take the bait but in turn if a cat was to catch a poisoned rodent then I am afraid that is likely to be the end of the cat as well.
