Title: Zooplus packaging
Post by: Susanne (urbantigers) on July 30, 2009, 10:58:52 AM
Seems they may be taking notice of all our complaints.  I've just had a despatch email from them and they are asking for feedback on what condition the goods arrive in.  Anyone else had that or is it a new thing?  I didn't get that the last time I ordered although that was a while back.

I've always had that on the dispatch emails and I've been using them for 2 or 3 years well, obviously not now but did. I remember being really impressed they monitored the condition of packages, until I found out they don't in fact care at all!

I think they are aware they have a problem - my last two parcels were much more secure than the first two

no-one carries the range they do, so I wish they would sort this problem out once and for all

Im so glad someone else has been having this problem. I actually made a real complaint to them last time my order arrived as a 40l bag of litter had split and half and poured out of the box as had 6 cartons of wet food

You are one of many 'disgruntled with packaging' zooplus customers, Gill did a letter detailing all our issues but we never heard anything back. They get away with it because they are one of few places to stock certain products, unless everyone boycotted they wont make any effort to keep us.

That's interesting.  I've never had that before.

and large tins of animonda.

I'm stuck with zooplus cos they are the only place that sells everything I want.  Even if I could get most of it from other places, unless I can get everything in one delivery, it's a no go for me.

My delivery came yesterday.  I chose DHL this time and was pleased to see that they had left it outside my door so I didn't have to rearrange delivery.  The box was heavily sealed with DHL tape so I'm guessing the zooplus packaging was pretty rubbish.  Fortunately, there was only one box and it was full with bozita cartons and animondy tins, so nothing rolling around.  Everything inside was in good condition, but without DHL resealing it I doubt it would have got to me in one piece.

had a delivery yesterday, just wanted to say it was beautifully packaged!!!  you can leave feed back on the state of the packaging now as well at the bottom of the email they send when the things are dispatched

My last delivery came Parcel Force (only took 2 days) and was packaged really well - no splits or damage at all - seems they may have at last got the messages

My last one came without a box whatsoever, it must have completely disintegrated  :evillaugh:  The boys liked the replacement though as you can see by this pic  ;D

My last order arrived in a very bashed box which had been resealed and the 40L bag of Oko Plus had a tear in it from being bashed around to the box had loads of litter in it! I sent Zooplus an email complaining but didn't hear anything back from them. I wasn't best pleased.
