Title: So many sad posts, cats with health problems and those passed to the bridge
Post by: Gill (sneakiefeline) on July 28, 2009, 00:54:04 AM
I would just like to say to everyone with a sick cat and all those who have recently lost their cats to the Bridge how much we all feel for you.

Its been a sad couple of weeks on Purrs and the posts today seem to have been one after another , cats who are very ill.

Just sending you lots of good wishes and strokes for your little friend and loads of these

Oh Gill , thankyou.
My heart goes out to all the people with poorly cats, i know how scared they must be feeling  :( And for all of us who recently lost a cat its a very difficult time but then i keep telling myself our cats were loved and cared for and they left us knowing that , what about all those out there which never get the chance to have a home and no one to care for them and cry when they leave. :'( I guess this is my way of comforting myself.
Lots of love and   to every one who are grieving. x

I agree, it seems to be such a hard time for people on Purrs at the moment, but at least we all have each other for support, and as PAv says, ours are the lucky ones to have people to love and care for them and to give them everything, not all cats are that lucky. Hugs to everyone

Can I just say, that without you wonderful people on Purrs, this last week would have been unbearable with Max being so ill and not knowing how much longer we have together.

All the hugs, thoughts and positive vibes mean so much, and its only now that I've realised just what an amazing support network we have on Purrs, and I'm very proud to be a part of it

 :shy:

Totaly agree Clare.

After finding Smudge dead after looking for him every day for 7 months I could not anticipate all the kind words and PMs etc. I would get from the Purrs Bunch.

I'm still here after all that time - so that says it all I think.  So glad Sam invited me on her.

sending lots of get well vibes and hugs to all the poorly cats and their slaves.  I feel a bit out of the loop as I'm still without a computer at home so can only get on here from work etc and time is very limited so I can't read every thread.  I apologise if I've missed vital threads - I'm sure I have - and not responded to everyone in person.

We have lost 2 boys this year Sailor and baby Archie so know what folks are going through

There are also glimmers of hope - Pav has Millie to keep her busy, we have caught Sam another feral boy and both these 2 now have a chance at a real life as Pav like us will do her best to ensure Miss Millie has a chance

For all the tears there is light at the end of every dark tunnel for uis to all try and help in anyway we can to ensure those we have loved will always be remembered and those yet to grace our lives can only enhance it

The thing is we have so many gorgeous puddy cats between us and we all feell like they blong to all of us and as we know deatha nd illness is a horrid part of life and it's going to happen every month BUT at least we are all here for each other and we know how each other feels and we all know that one day we will be able to cry with joy and not sadness.

No matter how sad I get at the loss of all our cats I am still so glad I am a member of theis Purrfect family.  :Luv2:
