I've got a 6 week old kitten. He's been with us since friday and I'm having trouble picking a name for him. Any help/suggestion greatly appriciated.

He is lovely, he is Mahoosive for 6 weeks old.

Teddy
Doodles
Harley
Bouncer
Hobnob
Scooter

I like Merlin x

That last pic is hilarious! :evillaugh:

Vinnie! :Luv2:
Ohh yes, he looks like a Vinnie

As I've never had a long haired cat before (only had DSH) when should I start etting him used to the comb and brush? What sort of combs/brushes should I be using on him?
-
There is nothing like the present! :wow:
As he is short haired at the mo I would just start off getting him used to brushing strokes via your hands, as his fur starts to lengthen then maybe add a soft brush etc etc! ;)
-
....and when his fur gets to the length in the pic below just add a rake! :evillaugh:

Or this length add a combine harvester !!
-
Ooo big piles of hairyness :Luv: :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:
I'll trade a plum tree for a big hairy pile of gorgeousness :naughty:
-
 at the moment his kitten fur is 3/4 of an inch long with an extra 1/4 for the guard hairs. He's definately a little curly on his belly and between his back legs like Teabag. He also has long tuffs between the pads on his feet.

Teabag is in the post to you !! :Luv2:
I cant wait to eat plum crumble
-
Curly or Tufty would make good names
-
I think he looks like a Gizmo in that last pic :Luv2:
-
I've got a name for him...... Oscar. Its celtic for jumping fighter :evillaugh:
-
I think he's a Monty or how about Hobbit (with those big hairy feet! ;) )
-
I would start combing him now to get him ued to it. Brushes are not much use on longhaired cats .......sigh
I need garden shears and a rake for this one!
-

I think he looks like his name could be Parsley. Don't know why particularly- he just looks like a Parsley to me.
Funny about the first suggested names- we used to have a Merlin (Uncle M, now on the bridge) and now we have a Monty (the Munchkin)
He's gorgeous! :Luv:

Or if it gets as long as Joe's - be careful what you find attached to it! :evillaugh:

How about "Chito" for a name ?
-
That kitten is a Dave if ever I saw one... :sneaky:

  that made me laugh, Teabags Tail is not as long furred as Joe's and he comes all with all sorts attached to his tail, it drives me mad, dont know how you cope with more than one long haired cat :Luv2:
-
Its his face, looking round all disgusted as if to say "no hanger's on" for me! :evillaugh:
Bet your really looking forward to this long hair growning now!
-
:evillaugh: I think it'll be the case of taking the trimmers to him and making him short haired :evillaugh: Seriously though I can't do that  Tempting as it is  Guess I'll just have to get into the habit of combing him out everyday or otherday.
